I avoid the whole DIS meet thing too. I would meet you guys and some of the people on my homeschooling threads but that is it. Not a bunch of random people I don't post with. Poor DH would probably croak at the thought. He would put up with it for me if it were people I actually know but not for just some group of whoever. I always avoid those DIS meet or Who Is Going such and such a date because you never know who might be there.

Gotcha. I just realized that I just have North Carolina in my profile, but not which city. I actually live in Arden (suburb), but can get to the Biltmore in about 10 minutes. Sad thing is we have lived here for 3 years, and haven't visited the Biltmore since we moved to town.

The boys are doing dandy, perfect, they are everything a mother could ask for and more--- seriously given the choice I would probably keep them (without too long of a pause ). I think that VA would be wonderful, I would love how close it is to all kinds of different activities. As for snow, you can have all of our Utah white stuff- I'm a giver. When is Women's Conference?

Women's conference is May 3 & 4.

Bonnie, Saturday is still on as far as I'm concerned. Not sure of Dsis yet, have to have final plans to see if she can come, I know she wants to.

Still on for me, too. I would just ask an earlier, rather than later lunch. I think my DD is going to be here in the afternoon, but I don't know when (and I think she's flexible). I forgot why she's even going to be here--she's visiting her boyfriend in Baltimore this weekend and he needs to come home Saturday I think, but I forgot the details. I think she told me when I was sick. I'm such an attentive mom.

I can do lunch any time you like. And I always love to dine early and beat the lunch rush.

Crap, I'm in trouble--she's calling me Linda....picking up the phone now.

Just got back from Zach's game. BARELY made it there. I guess a combination of feeling sick for the last couple days, taking the maxalt for the migraine and then the percocet when the maxalt didn't do it's job. To say that it was a bad mix would be an understatement. Figured all I had to do was to go to the game and then come home and hang out when one of the other moms reminded me about the incoming 9th grade meeting at the high school tonight...the meeting that's been rescheduled twice because of snow. So I get to go back out and go to a friggin meeting. Unless my DH is done working and I can send him, but that is highly unlikely.

It really is a small world. I go up to Asheville a few times a year either to see a concert at Thomas Wolfe or to go camping or just to hang out downtown. It's a cool little city. And less than an hour from my house.

Let me tell you a cute neice story.

Sis calls today and the 3 yo wants to talk to me. She gets on the phone and I ask what she is doing. She tells me that they are going to Costco to get Sponge Bob yogurt. I ask if it's yummy and she says it is and that it is blueberry and strawberry flavored. I ask if they are getting anything else and she tells me that they are getting pizza bites but they don't need juice boxes because they have some downstairs. Right before I get off the phone she tells me she loves me.

I get back on with my sister and she tells me she doesn't know where she got the Costco idea because they aren't going there.
