Hubby and I are both on the "Plus" size and were thinking of adding Sea World to our upcoming trip...any advice?
Are the rides roomy or would be uncomfortable? Any advice is appreciated! :thanks:

I have never tried Kraken as this is way to scary for me, but I have never had a problem with either Journey to Atlantis or Wild Arctic.

Only forseeable problem is Kracken, and even on that, you should be fine on rows 5/6. As dolphingirl said, the other two rides shouldn't even be an issue.

Thanks...we had issues last year at Universal. We bought a 2 day ticket but didn't fit on most of the rides. :sad1:

We don't have ANY trouble at Disney though. ;)

Does anyone know if they have a model of the seats outside the rides in Sea World to check and see if you fit before going on?

Don't recall seeing one (doesn't necessarily mean there isn't), but for comparison, Kracken seats are roughly comparable to Dueling Dragons, Journey to Atlantis cars are similar to Rockin' Roller Coaster, and Wild Arctic is just like a theater seat with with a seat belt attached.

Thanks Jason71! That helps alot!

They do have 'test seats' outside of Kraken, to the left of the turnstiles.

I don't belive they do at Wild Arctic or Journey to Atlantis, however.

JtA is one of those bench seats with lap bar deals, so I don't imagine too many issues for most folks.

With Wild Arctic, it's like a movie theater seat with a seatbelt. If you cannot, for any reason, go on the motion ride, they offer a non-motion version with basic benches.

=)

They have roomier seats in rows 4 & 5. You should have no problem. I had enough room to pull the bars down more. They are very accommodating to us Plus-sized individuals. Have fun! The Kracken is amazing!
