I get a lot of dresses from eshakti.com. They use your measurements and make each dress to your specific size. I particularly like it because they customize to your height, so it's the only place I can get dresses long enough for my 6'3" self. The prices are pretty decent, and the quality has always been good. I have about 10 different dresses from them!
Also... most of their dresses and skirts have POCKETS!!!!![]()
That is good to hear. I thought they were just another knockoff site. I'll certainly have another look.
Unless you plan to wear it again you really don't *need* floor length. Very few people dress truly formal, in my experience. The little black dress is quite fine and will see use on many occasions after your cruise.
I have a formal wedding to attend this November so that's at least one more. Also, we have a volunteer banquet and a swim team banquet that people dress up for as much (or little) as they like. I wore my LBD on the last cruise and for me I wanted to be dressier.
If you have a Goodwill Resale shop close by, look there.![]()
I do all the time. I have never found anything in my size unfortunately. I do buy tons of t-shirts there for up-cycling though.

Amazon! If you are a prime member you can get 2 day shipping and normally they offer free returns.
Have you ever had problems with returns? I did order a pirate costume for my youngest and managed to return it but I do worry that not all of the sellers are backed by Amazon policy.
We are taking advantage of having somewhere to wear formal dresses! The process of shopping forand choosing was exciting, too.
Exactly!
I have ordered several dresses from Cybernetplaza.com. I have always had good luck. Their dresses run a range of sizes and prices. We have to have floor length formal gowns for Mardi Gras and it can get expensive.
Thank you I will try that as well. Funny how none of these sites turn up in a Google search.
