Pls post if you win a BBQ

I am curious to see if anyone wins the one week interval exchange at the member bbq drawing. The reason why I am asking (not that we expected to win of course) is that my dh asked one of the cms if we had to be present at drawing (it was pouring, bbq cancelled so we ran to eat at RiverGrille). We were told we needed to be there. Our friend had also asked the same ? to a different cm and was also told that you needed to be present. We all made the drawing. The person who won was not present but they did not draw another card and that was that. If anyone wins, or knows someone who won, please post and state if you were there or not. I can't help wondering, does anyone win or was the info incorrect both times.

AnnaS--What time was the drawing and where was it held? We plan on going on 7/29 to visit with other DVC members but have PS at Boma's about 8 p.m. Trying to decide if we should change our PS time or not. Also do you have suggestions for any other not to miss member day activities?

Thanks Mac. I am glad someone did win. I was just wonderig since we were told we needed to be there and we rushed through our dinner.

Donna I think they told us to be back at around 7:30pm and perhaps it was around 8 pm (they had other things going on at the Atlantic Hall (?) but the men were too hungry). Someone correct me if I'm wrong. They had some dance/song/music contest and give aways at OKW from 12:30 to 2:30.

Thanks Anna and I understand. I hate to be miss informed. At our Member Barbaque they told us that you had to be present for the raffle of the Cruise (on the Mahogany) not the Cruise Line.

They left a message at our villa while we were out for the night. It was the best. I would like to see more member BBQ winners come forward.

Donna, when you check-in at your resort, you will be given a members perk packet, discounts, anything going on, I think there were two tickets to bring a guest and a card you fill out. The cards were also at the Boardwalk - when you meet here at 5:30 you start looking for dvc members who joined the same year as you, find somene who has done an exchange, write down a cm who has made your stay magical, a dvc cm must also sign, etc. Your turn these in an get a lanyard with pin and proceed to other activities (the bbq was cancelled due to rain - this is when we went to get a bite to eat and ran back for drawing). Quite a crowd.

If you have the time stay for the barbeque as well. We were just hanging by the pool that day. They also give away other DVC merchandise. My daughter got me a coozie(sp). For answering a Disney Trivia question correctly!

Our Member Day raffle card was turned in at BCV. I'd love to har someone else winning.
