I am just wondering if Pleasure Island is just a 'party' place? We might get a night out without the kids and I am wondering if it is worth it as we don't really drink and were not into the 'dance' scene or big crowded rooms. Are there any low key places? Any info would be a help. Thanks.

Although Pleasure Island does have some dance clubs, there are some other places that you may enjoy-- Do you enjoy comedy clubs? The Comedy Warehouse is a comedy club that is in "Improv" style-- it's pretty fun (and a little more "family-ish" then some other improv comedy clubs I've been to). There's also a club called the Adventurer's Club, which is really unique to Disney-- the CMs at the club are all "characters" and they put on shows and interact with all of the guests there-- I really like it!

If those don't sound lke something you would like, maybe you guys can get away from the kids for either a quiet dinner at one of the more "adult" restaurants, or even see a performance of Cirque du Soleil??

Thanks - they both sound like fun!

My boyfriend and I aren't big on dance clubs, but we really enjoy PI. I love The Adventurers Club and he really likes the Rock -n- Roll beach club where they usually have cover bands playing. They have pool tables and air hockey and various other video games that we enjoy playing.

Bluenoser,
My DH and I went, and we're not into the "party" scene either. However, I could have stayed in the Comedy Warehouse and Adventurer's Club all night. We had a great night. We went to these two places and ended the night by sharing fries and a coke at an outside table. GREAT DATE!
