I'm surprised that Disney even let themselves be put in the situation where underage drinking is a possibility!! When my DSIS and I were there at 18 and 20 respectively we JOKED about how easy it would be to ask someone for their wrist band or get people to buy you drinks. Obviously there are people following through. I've been to a lot of places where they not only make you wear a wrist band but check your ID at the bar as well. It's really just a safety measure.
What I don't understand is yes, I'm sure Disney is making more money, but the majority of people coming in are underage anyway!!!! If I want to see sloppy drunk underagers I can just head up to college for a weekend. I thought PI was a place I could get away from that. I hope it's changed back very quickly.

...1) when did these kids sleep and 2) what do they( the kids) need to be at a night club for? maybe that's part of the reason you see crabby whiney kids in the parks. I am old fashioned i know but this just makes me really irritated, either spend $$ for a sitter or don't go. personally i think it's a bad site for it( imo it should not be in the middle of the "family type stuff" like cirque but off on it's own, like before they added the west side )
where do they think their kids are at that time of night that allows them to come back with alcohol on their breath? we also saw kids in their late teens by themselves leaving the resort.
