Pleasure Island Fireworks

I read in AllEars that the PI Fireworks will be extended by 5 min. on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th of July. Are these fireworks worth seeing if you're not at PI anyway? Will they be better than the MK fireworks?

If they are extended by 5 minutes, that means they're about triple what they are now!

PI fireworks are fun, but they don't in any way compare to the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. They're much smaller bursts, not a spectacular show in any way. Sort of a means of alerting the more inibriated that it's time to go home.
