We are going to Disney World during the last week in August. We are going to be utilizing the park hoppers and are planning on going to Epcot, Animal Kingdom and then finishing up at Magic Kingdom for the last three hours (8-11). The date is Sunday Aug 24th. Do you recommend getting fast passes for Epcot during the day or getting them for Magic Kingdom that night between 8-11?

For Aug 24th Touringplans.com crowd calender has Epcot at a 2 and MK at a 4. Not a busy day in either park.(prediction now...............:listen:) What to do depends on what your group likes. Since Epcot is first on your list and if you get there early you can probably do stand-by without to much trouble. I'd do the FP's for the MK......not sure if anything worth FP'ing will be around............the same could hold true in Epcot too..................

Alternate plan would be do the 3 FP+'s for Epcot..........get them done by noon and then get a 4th in the MK...................that could work too

Good luck

What are your must-do rides? That should factor into your decision.

Can you arrive at Epcot at RD? If so, you may b able to high-tail it to Soarin', then do MS and single-rider TT in the first few hours the park is open. Lines are typically minimal for all the other rides.

Seems to me that with just three hours in Magic Kingdom, fast passes he is better use of your time there. There's a lot more rides that are likely to have a long line that time of night.

What is this "4th" FP you speak of? I only thought you could get three?

This is the advantage of FP+ (not needing to be in the park). I would follow glassslippergirl with rope dropping Epcot and saving your valuable FPs for MK.

Hopefully, you won't get screwed at Animal Kingdom with long mid-day lines.

Good luck!

Once you've used your first 3 FP+'s you can then get a fourth (I believe only at a kiosk in park though)......I also believe you can get a 5th once you use that 4th one.

Completely agree........my only concern would be getting FP's for August 24th now............the best rides will probably be gone..........7DMT:worried:

After you use your 3rd FP, you can get a 4th. Once you use your 4th, you can get a 5th and so on.

The problem is that you have to get your 4th from a kiosk in that park. So, you could get 3 FPs for Epcot. Then, head over to AK for another one or two. Then, go to MK and get more.

The problem is that by the time you get to MK, all of the major rides will have "sold out" of FPs.

Are you joking with me right now? Wow, this is the best news I have heard in a while!!! I thought after 3 that was it? Is this new or am I just this ignorant towards the new system? lol :rotfl2:
