This is SO type A, and I'm embarressed, but....I have one itinerary based on the not using the EMH and one based on using it....bear in mind we have a very short window to be in Orlando and my 8 year old INSISTS that he wants to go to Universal/IOA...sigh.....as if there is not enough with the unlimited park hopper!! Oh well:

Itinerary 1 - EMH correct:

Day 1:
Arrive Orlando 7:40 am

Ressies at Boma at 5:30
taxi back to CSR (hot tub/swim/bed)

Day 2:
EMH Epcot
12:00 Teppenyaki (son's fave) - boat or walk to MGM
1:30-6:00 MGM

Day 3:
EMH Magic Kingdom
12:00 Kona Cafe
Epcot or Downtown Disney
6:30 O'Hana's (window to watch Wishes?)
ice cream during mass exodus
back to CSR...zzzzz

Day 4:
check out; stow luggage
take taxi or towncar to Universal/IOA
Do universal - snax at counter svc.

Maybe it's just me but I wouldn't buy UPH for what you are doing. I don't think you'll get the value to them.

I think I would also vote for a "c" (because I'm cheap) and put all your "nonpark" stuff on one day. I would think you could buy a three day hopper and have one day for next time, and come out way ahead.

PS Sorry, guess I didn't vote right

No - I think you are just much smarter!!!

Unfortunately, I already committed to an AAA package that includes the length-of -stay hopper passes.......I wish I had done more research in order to get everything cheaper!!! Well - there's always next time!! I really appreciate your advice!!

My vote is for plan one, it looks like it covers the best of the best in the short time you have. I have made a plan for Spring break that looks almost identical, but no Universal, I don't think anything tops the Magic, plus I have been to Universal in CA.

Good luck with your plans!

I vote for Plan 1. Of course, I would leave out the Universal part. ;) It's funny, my kids don't even mention going to Universal anymore, they know there's no way I'll be in Orlando and not be at WDW.

I also like the first itinerary better. I have a clarification question. On your 2nd day you have lunch planned for Teppanyaki and dinner at Pizza Planet and I got stuck on that for a minute. When we last were in WDW in 2002, PP was only open lunch hours. Has this changed? Does anyone know the hours now?
