Please tell me "EVERYTHING" about Sugarloaf!

Ok,

Here's the situation, we want to go back "Home" and we tend to mostly stay at the GF. We stayed Sugarloaf 1 time for 1 night, so I didn't really get "the feel" for the place since we checked in at 3 and left at 10 the next morning. I was wondering if any of the rooms really have views of the castle, or just really nice views to sit and enjoy. We do use the balconies often due to have 2 dd's.

As for the offerings, I know they are similar to the Main Building. How different are they? Do you miss the evening cordials?

Any information will be helpful.

I think the Sugar Loaf has more of a country club feel to it. Very homey and very comfortable. I do miss the beautiful concierge lounge in the main building when I stay at Sugar Loaf though. For a nice quiet view, I'd request the marina. You won't see the Magic Kingdom directly, but you can hear the sounds of the railroad and steamboat whistle. Depending on where the marina room is situated, you might get a view of the fireworks by standing up against your balcony.

Are you using their concierge pre-planners to help you out with priority seating or recreation? In all the times that I've stayed there, I only got contacted by them once. The other times I initiated either a phone call or e-mail. It's nice because you don't have to wait for the "window" to open on your reservations. They'll simply put it into their system as a pending item and take care of it for you when it's time.

You'll be receiving the same food as the main building, but as you mentioned without the wine or cordials. You can always order something from private dining and have it delivered to your balcony. Don't forget the GF bakery has those beautiful white chocolate Cinderella desserts. Yummy.

With children, the convenience of Sugar Loaf is great too. If you're at the pool, it's so quick to stop back there and get cool drinks or a snack. I'm sure you'll enjoy it much more now that you'll have a longer time there.
