Please tell me all about Chef Mickey's!

DH and I have an 11 am ADR there on a Saturday in January - we've never eaten there before!

Breakfast is fun and yummy. In fact it is a must do for our family. Its actually hubby that requires we do Chef Mickey's bfast on each trip. I kid you not!!

Great character interaction, lots of fun and good food. At least we like it Plus its neat to watch the monorail go by as you eat!

We enjoy it very much. We get the pictures every time too and its great to see the differences in the kids from one year to the next!

You've picked a good time. You will likely have plenty of character interaction, you may even have them all to yourselves! Chef Mickey's was our DS' first character experience/interaction. We had a late PS, and it ended up being us, one other family, and all the characters. He fell in love with Minnie that day... really, we all did. He was 19 months. Now, at almost 4, he has never looked back. You cannot keep this child away from the characters!

Chef Mickeys is our favorite character breakfast. Although we have tried a few others over the years, none have beat the variety of foond and characer interaction of CMs.

Chef Mickey's is our favorite character meal too. The character interaction is wonderful. The resturant is loud and lively. The food is really really good. It's our first-night-at-Disney tradition. Never had breakfast there but I'm sure it's great too.

We don't enjoy the dinner at Chef Mickey's - but always have breakfast here on our trips. It's a great way to start our day at MK! We have done the 1st seating (7 am) & one of the later seatings (11 am-ish) & had great character interaction both times!!

I think you'll really enjoy this meal - there is a large variety of food at this buffet & a lot of characters around compared to some of the other character meals. Enjoy!!

Chef Mickey is a MUST for us every single visit. We usually do breakfast and the kids eat and have a blast. We've done dinner once, and I wasn't completely impressed, but may consider trying it again.

We did breakfast here on the recommendation from people on the boards. If they try to sit you in the back room ask to sit somewhere else.

That is where we were placed and it was horrible. Paid all that money for no characters at all during breakfast. We got to see them as we were walking out.
We were very dissappointed in our breakfast here but know for next time what to do and not do.

Thats so unfortunate! We were sat in the back room too, We didnt mind as we had no children but the character interaction was fantastic for us. We loved Chef mickeys, good choice of food, friendly staff and great charaters!

We just went on Oct 30th for breakfast and loved it!! We had a 10am ADR and it was great!! Lots of food to choose from and it was hot and tasty. Characters actually came around twice and we got to twirl our napkins at least three times while we were there! We would go back even without the kids! We would love to try them for supper next time.

Chef Mickey's is one of our favorites. Good food, great character interaction, and DD loved the music and fun. Good selection of food and desserts. Will become a ritual on the first night to take the monorail in to Contemporary and eat with the Mouse himself!!!

Breakfast we really liked Crystal Palace. Great character interaction, made to order omelets, breakfast lasagna, etc.
