Please tell me about Evening EMH at MK

We have an upcoming visit in early February with split stay between Universal and Disney, three nights each starting off at Universal (two park days in each with a day off in the middle to move and do other activities). We always try to take advantage of morning EMH, and on our two WDW days the only EMH offered at the Magic Kingdom is 8 PM-10 PM. I do not think we have ever done evening EMH!

Could someone please tell me what rides are open during these two hours? How do they know you are staying on site?

Unlike Morning EMH which is limited to Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, Evening EMH is not limited like that. I don't think any attractions will shut down, though many shows may have already run their last shows of the day. Some food locations will close too, but some will remain open.

Being onsite is checked using your Magic Band. They do not clear the park of offsite guests, but to get in an attraction queue they will scan your Magic Band before letting you in.

Some times the line to scan your MB is longer then the line it self. Some rides 7DMT will have a long line but for the most part you can get a lot don

That early, I wouldn't expect a significant decrease in crowds. Most rides will be open, but a few do close - Peoplemover (usually,) Jungle Cruise & Splash Mountain off the top of my head.
