Please tell me about breakfast at Hollywood & Vine

We are going for a late lunch - ADR time is 11:05 am. I noticed that breakfast finishes up at 11:20 am. So does this mean they won't be replenishing the food after 11 am? Or will we still be OK?

Also, can someone just tell me a bit about this place and the characters? What did you think of it. We are dining there on our last day at WDW, and I really wanted to do a character meal. We are already doing Crystal Palace (which we really like) and lunch with the princesses at Norway in Epcot. We did not like Chef Mickey's that much. Any thoughts on H&V, when compared to other character meals?

I'm really not sure about how that would work as far as the lunch goes we always have a early breakfast.. (It's layed out like a old fashioned dinner and the wait staff is dressed acorrodingly it's really cute not quite as crowed as some other resturants) but my daughter was 5 when we took her last year and she loved it they have the little einstiens and JoJo& Galaith (playhouse disney themed) she is now 6 and requested this for our trip in September hope this helps

When we went in September Leo, Goliath and Jojo were there. My dd would have liked to see June, but she wasn't there. We also had a late breakfast, but I don't have the time accessible. We did have to wait a bit, though.
The characters came one at a time to the tables and signed autographs and posed with the kids. Another thing that I remember is that the cast members stopped intermittently and did a song/dance number. That was fun.

We loved it! We just went this past February and had a 9:35 res so I can't speak for late morning. Although my husband just mentioned the other day how much he liked the food at the buffet and he's really picky!
My DD4 (other DD was 9 months and slept all the way through it!) had a blast! Jojo, Goliath, June and Leo were all there. They spent time with her signing autographs and having pictures taken and were really sweet, especially Leo! The little dance/singing shows were very cute.

I highly recommend the breakfast, although being a newbie I had planned our breakfast for a time when we should have been touring! Oh well! If we ever did it again we would plan a time like you have or do a later lunch. This time we're checking out Sci-Fi for dinner. DD4 hasn't requested we do this breakfast again, she's more interested in Princesses this year!
