Me DH is so stressed about my birthday(he told me by accident) :wizard: he is taking me a day early to Disneyworld to celebrate my 43rd birthday (then the rest of the party arrives). We have looked at menus, read reviews, :surfweb: and we need HELP. We already have reservations at Boma's, Coral Reef, and California Grill while we are staying there. :thumbsup2 We would like something romantic and fairy tale? Please advise.............

If price wasn't an issue then I'd go with Victoria and Alberts Haven't heard anything but good reviews for that restaurant.

Have heard good things about Artist's Point (WL) and a lot of good things about Jiko.(AKL)

Have a magical Birthday!

I read that another poster's husband suprised her with a private dinner near the marina at the Grand Floridian. They had a view of the lake and the Magic Kingdom from there. There was a butler who served them their meal and the husband had pre-ordered everything ahead of time for the meal. They then watched Wishes from there. I'll try to find that posting, but that sounds like a romantic meal.

we really enjoyed Artist's Point in WL, the food was fantastic, the waitstaff was great, what more else can I say, 2 :thumbsup2 for Artist's Point

Citrico's is another fine restaurant, maybe request a window seat and try to be there around wishes, you do catch a glimpse of the fireworks.

Just for even a good adult meal out, without a lot of extra cost and planning, I vote for Flying Fish. :goodvibes Always a good meal there.
Or you could dine in one of the many DTD restaurants and go see Cirque afterwards. :thumbsup2
Last year for our anniversary we dined at Fulton's and went to Cirque. :teeth:

Another vote for Artist Point. Very romantic. We had a corner table once that was quiet with a great view of the resort and lake.

Call V & A for chef's table and see if it's available....... We went there on our last trip and it was so much fun. They treat you like a king and queen and the food is delicious.

If it's booked and it likely will be......take a ressie for V & A the restaurant or try one of the other suggestions above GF or CG - we love them all.

And then give the telephone number to you DH and have him keep calling for V & H Chef table and you might be able to snag a cancellation. That's what happened for us. I can't remember how many days out before the trip that I finally got it....but it was worth it.
