Please share your wegoshop list

Thank you laurie :) :) Can you tell me if it is a cone filter or regular flat bottom with the squiggly edges on top? I'm going to check into that for the milk. The only crappy part is we need lactaid milk my ds is lactose intolerant....or i can just stock up on dairy relief pills:) that could work!

The filter basket has a flat bottom. You may want to try calling the resort to see what type of milk products they carry. When we stayed at SSR, I was pleasantly surprised at how much the AP store carried.

Thank you so much laurie:hug: I am going to do that! Well ok 1.99 for those and their light to pack ...:) I'll buy em now.(we have a cone shape)

We just got back from WDW at the OKW last night. We had a great time and Wegoshop.com was awesome! I got into my room much earlier than I thought. I called Marge and let her know we could receive our order sooner than my requested delivery time. She got my order in 2 hours ahead of time. Her assistant. Amy. did the delivery. Poor thing had to climb three flights of stairs with 2 huge plastic bins. 2 cases of water and soda. I sent my kids to help her out.

The list I posted on post #2 worked out. I did order too much of the diet soda. We stayed 10 days and I ended up drinking the water much of the time. Another thing I did was make Crystal Light individual packets of lemonade or tea in the water bottles and then froze them. I had a small collapsable cooler. The frozen bottles kept my cheese sticks cold. We had cold frozen drinks for our enjoyment. It worked out great!

Hey I have a interesting recipe for the chicken breast. I got 2 small honey dejion dipping sauces form the Starlight eating area in the MK. I baked the breasts with a little oil, salt and pepper for about 40 minutes. At the last 10 minutes of cooking, I spread the sauce on the chicken and finished baking. That was so good! I used th left overs for sandwiches the next day. I got some mayo from the one of the parks, too. (I forgot to add mayo to my order.) Now I have got to start planning my next trip and I will be using Marge again.

One tip to conserve space in your USPS Flat Rate box......when packing foil, plastic wrap and plastic storage bags.....simply rip several sheets of both the foil and plastic wrap and alternate layers of both ......fold and put a couple extra plastic bags on top and store inside another plastic bag for shipping.....saves a ton of room......lies flat and takes up no space in your box.

We don't use Wegoshop because we prefer to take a cab to Winn Dixie ourselves, and we only have coffee, light breakfast in the room & occasional late night snack, but here's our shopping list for a family of 4 for 1 week:

2 pks Maxwell House prefiltered coffee (don't need separate filters)

butter
Splenda packets

1 sm. pk toilet paper (I know we can call for more but we don't)

Usually bring toiletries such as shampoo/cond. from home but we always forget something.

Can you specify with Wego shop where to get the groceries? For example, coudl I request that they get them from Publix?

This summer we requested Publix and Whole Foods. I even added fruit at the last minute that was on sale (I looked at the online flyer for that week)

We used Garden Grocer for our last trip. Is the advantage to Wego shop that you can request the store and specifics? Also, how much is the charge? Thank you!
We leave in 7 days! Whoo hoo!

This is our 1st DVC vacation:banana: ! We are so excited:cool1: , we have been to Disney a ton of times, but this year coming seems so much more exciting! Our dilema? Where do you recommend the purchase of groceries? :confused3

If you need particular brands or foods, I think the advantage goes to wegoshop. We eat a lot of fresh fruit and veges, so I liked looking at the weekly Publix ad and adding whatever fruit/veges on sale to my order. Plus because we needed organic items, we were able to specify Whole Foods as an alternate source of groceries. I forget what the charge is, but you can look at the wegoshop site and it will tell you the charges. I don't think you can go wrong with either service. We plan on another trip this summer and will order from wegoshop again.

Since I have never shopped in the Disney area, does anyone recommend certain stores over others? Which stores have the overall best prices and I also would be concerned with the quality of the produce. We will be eating breakfast in the room every day and perhaps one or two dinners since we will have a villa (very easy dinners!).

Thank you!
