I will be arriving on Memorial Day itself, but I do have my plans for that day already.

Monday, May 30th - Arrive late afternoon at Pop Century & check in, go for a nice long swim in the Hippy Trippy Pool, grab a bus to Epcot, do some people watching, maybe an attraction depending on wait times, PS dinner at Le Cellier, then Illuminations. After that it will depend on my mood, either over to DTD or back to Pop for another swim.

I am a pool lover! hehe
Mike

p.s. Is it May yet??? Waaaahhh!!!

Sunday May 29 - MGM

We're not early risers, so planning on doing the night EMH (except for EPCOT) and no hopping.

We are so excited for this trip. We are celebrating DH's 40th and oldest DS's 6th b-days. It will also be our first trip "home" as DVC owners, first time at AKL and first Star Wars Weekend (we are all huge fans).

Friday (5/27) - Check-in AKL concierge, dinner at Boma
Saturday (5/28) - MGM for Star Wars Weekend events
Sunday (5/29) - Either AK or MGM (DH is doing Sunrise Safari at AK). Check-in at BWV. Dinner at Spoodles.
Monday (5/30) - Disney Quest, Dinner at Chef Mickey, either MK or Epcot
Tuesday (5/31) - MK (lunch at CP), Hoop Dee Doo Revue
Wednesday (6/1) - Blizzard Beach, either MGM (Fantasmic) or Eat and Drink around Epcot
Thursday (6/2) - MK, Dinner at Ohana, back to MK
Friday (6/3) - Either MGM or AK (depends on what we did on 5/29, dinner at YSH and Epcot
Saturday (6/4) - Either MGM or Epcot, check-out

I am really trying to come up with some good surprises for DH and DS for their b-days. We are also traveling with friends and the husband and son are also celebrating their b-days.

Hope to see you all there!

Sunday: Arrive and check in hotel, maybe go to Downtown Disney or Universal CityWalk
Monday and Tuesday: Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios and at night one of the days see new Star Wars movie at theater at CityWalk
Wednesday and Thursday: Animal Kingdom and Epcot
Friday: Magic Kingdom
Saturday: MGM Sudios (Star War Weekends!)
Sunday: go to beach in the morning and then in the afternoon, fly home

I'm attending with my parents and sisters (one actually is on her honeymoon on this trip). I've been to Seaworld twice with grandparents and cousins, so we're not going there. I'm the only one who has been to Disney (Magic Kingdom March 2002 for Spring Break - very packed in the morning) and my dad went to both Universal parks when he was on a business trip for work, and we pretty much have an idea where we want to go.

Just FYI, I heard that June 2- 6 is "Gay Week" at the parks, so you are all now informed.

Also, I've attended Sea World when it is raining (mid July), and it was not packed because of the rain all day, and the park gave everyone free ponchos, so don't give up time at the parks when it is raining. When we arrived, it was pouring so bad, but by afternoon/dinner time it had cleared up.

This is a last minute trip for us. Going on longer trip in August.
Sat: Arrival at POFQ- Pool Day maybe trip over to our new "home" SSR to check things out, DTD and Quest. (Hoping to go by standby early in the morning)

Mon: MK all day and Dinner at either Crystal Palace of Chef Mickeys
Tues -Check out- Head over to HRH for early check in and hit USO/IOA
Wed Hang by HRH Pool with late check and fly home!

See you again in August!!!!
