I'm so sorry! How old is your uncle?

I will keep your family in my thoughts.

My Uncle William was hunting today, but never met everybody else at the house at 2:00. My brother and some cousins went searching.......Uncle William had fallen from the deer stand and was unconcious.

They called the ambulance and he was transported to the hospital. Turns out he had a heart attack (that is probably why he fell) and had to have sextuple (is that a word...) bypass.

I am just so sick over this. He is in surgery now and my cousin (his son) is in Greece and we haven't been able to contact him. To top everything off, my parents left for WDW this morning (my Mom is his sister) and they have their cell phones turned off......

Just please keep my Uncle William in your prayers or good thoughts.

About 15 years ago, my brother in his early 20s at the time, did something similar. He went out on his own which is a big no/no. Extremely windy that day. He fell off his tree stand and broke his neck. Lucky to be alive. It was so windy that day that they could not use helicopter to fly him to a better hospital right away (fruther away from the local one).

It is a dangerous sport and we get into arguments every year about it. My dh is there now with my 22 yr. old. My dh only went to be near my son (dh had a heart attack two months ago and is limited to what he can do - extreme heart damage to the heart). They are close to the house and they are with about 10 other people.

Keep us posted (I think I missed the third page). Hoping there is good news.

Well, he was doing well last night but became panicked while in ICU. He pulled all the wires out and had a massive heart attack. He is on life support, probably no need for prayers now.....

He is holding his own right now. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. He is being sedated constantly now, b/c everytime he is anywhere near lucid, he panics. We have even been told not to talk when we are in his room.

Thanks again, and hopefully, there will be a better update tomorrow.
