We went Oct last year and couldn't get an AP discount as they were few and far between. We stayed at AS Movies standard room for 99+tax. I think we could have gotten a few nights at the AS Music at the discounted rate, with the possibility of having to switch rooms, but it would've been under 100., so we stuck with AS Movies. I was surprised about the lack of AP discounts last year because the concensus on these boards was that it was not crowded. I think people who couldn't afford to go last year for the 7 for 4, who were saving up to go this year will take advantage of this pkg. Others who went last year may not go again so soon. Plus, the pkg is not as great a deal as last year, so people who have not visited WDW before may not be persuaded to go. I hope to get even a small room discount, considering I have been an AP holder for some years now, and am a Disney Visa holder, and blow my salary at the DS a lot. I certainly do my part to support the Disney Co. Please give me a discount on my room so I can buy more expensive souveniers....hmmmm.......I guess they would make more $ by giving me a discount. Wsh they would realize that!
