We've got a long great trip planned for September , and this is KIIIIILLLLING me...please pry my hand from the phone before I book a room and plan an earlier weekend trip just so I can use the discount code....never stayed in a deluxe resort, but I want to soooo bad and the code would make it possible. Dh says "no way! how many times do we have to go to Disney in one year?" (just went in January, lol) Help!

I'm w/ you! DH has a conference in Orlando in Sept & that's how were even able to go. So, no changing dates here. I'm really hoping for some codes for Sept!!

In the past there have always been codes. its value season during that time and a wonderful time to go. the crowds are light. We went for 5 days in mid-august and 3 days in mid-sept. I think we did more in Sept because we were able to walk onto to everything. The biggest wait was 10 minutes for Splash mountain.

I think last year I booked our Sept trip around Apr/May-ish, with codes.

oops, I guess you answered it with "April/May-ish"...too excited about the prospect of staying at The Wilderness Lodge to pay attention, lol. Thanks!

Just so you don't get hopes set too high:

The only room-only codes for September '03 were for FL residents. There were no AP codes. Much of that was attributable to the FairyTale Package's 7 for 4 bookings.

There were some package deals going on for September like DV and DC package deals but room-only's weren't available. No telling whether this year will be a repeat or not.

Yes, last September was totally different from other Septembers. Lots of people were waiting for room only codes and didn't get anyything. Here's hoping all of you have better luck this year!

Well, so far no FTP, so maybe we'll get some discount codes like we usually do. The FTP last year is probably why the codes were left out for last year. Keep your fingers crossed! :bounce:

I am keeping the faith.....good things come to those who wait....princess:

I hate to be a wet blanket, but we honeymooned Sept 15-21 and no AP rates:( so I feel for you, but on the flip side that month was the only month last year that didn't have an ap rate. good luck!

Crossing my fingers hoping for codes too. I would love to be able to stay at the poly but for right now it will have to be CS.

I would love to go mid September with a room only code!

I couldn't wait to long so I made a res for the end of Aug with the AP rate. $99/night in a king room at CBR. My husband and I went this time 2 years ago and we walked on to many things until the Labor Day goers came.

Are you still waiting for room only? The 7 for 5 is pretty good and it goes til Nov so I think we may not have room only's??????

::MinnieMo When all the rumors and hype around discount codes were flowing, I knew for sure that Sept. would have been included but when the codes finally came out I was crushed when there were no codes for September. Right now I have ressies at WL Sept. 3-10, using the AAA rate but am anxiously waiting for AP or room only rates anyone can use. The 7/5 deal really did not do much for anyone travelling in my group so we are waiting patiently...:wave2: Annette: your picture is fabulous.

Does anyone know where we can send an e-mail to Disney and ask them to please (PRETTY PLEASE) give us some AP codes or room only resort codes?
This will be the fourth time DH and I have purchased APs and for once, we would like to get an AP rate. The best rate we got was $94 a night in preferred view room at CBR last May and that was only a resort room only discount code. We do not want a Disney visa - - we just want some sort of code and am hoping that it is an AP rate or room only resort - whichever is better is fine with me:)
Does anyone know how we can band together to let Disney know how happy it would make their customers if they thought of those who do want want the 7/5 package??????

Actually, the package deal they have is pretty much the fairytale package. However, you have to pay for 5 nights instead of 4.

The reception to this year's deal seems to not be as much as it was to last year's, so we'll see what happens.

I'm also anxiously awaiting whether or not September codes will be released.

Well, I did may part:) I e-mailed Disney and let's hope they listen. Maybe if everyone else e-mails Disney and let them know how important AP rates and resort room only codes are (even during the value season), we may get something accomplished. Let's cross our fingers!!

::MinnieMo DNBois what did you say and what address did you send the email to. I would like to do the same, I am anxiously waiting for AP rates for Sept.

I just went on disneyworld.com and sent a message to Disney through their website. I told them that DH and I had just renewed our APs for the fourth time and we were anxiously awaiting AP rates for Sept. or the value season in general. I also told them that Disney should reward their loyal AP holders with AP rates for Sept- Dec - did suck up just a tad:)
Unfortunately, I was disappointed when I received a generic response today that basically informed me of their current specials for AP rates through August (which of course, we all know about already). Apparently, they didn't make note that I mentioned we were going in September - I'll keep e-mailing them in hopes that they will listen and offer AP rates for value season - let us know how you make out:)

I am really hoping for room-only codes for September. I think I am doing my part by NOT making reservations for a resort that I really hope to stay in until a code comes out. I do have a ressie at SOG just in case, but I want POFQ for part of our stay...it is our favorite! Do you think it hurts our chances for codes if there are a lot of resort reservations...or have they figured out that a lot of people cancel/have dual ressies if codes aren't available?

IMHO, The members of these boards and others like them who watch for codes, make up a small percentage of the WDW resort guests, and are not likely to affect the decision whether or not to issue discounts.

Most of my friends and co-workers who go to the parks are clueless about discounts and seasons. They go when it's convenient for them, fight crowds, pay more $$ than necessary for everything, then wonder why I have such a different experience on my vacations.

::yes:: You guys are the best! ::yes::
