I planned our trip last year and my husband became a Disney fanatic! Well now he is planning our aniversary trip, and I am doing my best not to know anything, so it can be a romantic trip and a huge surprise. Well I have just been reading the Dis, and all ears and I keep stumbling upon romantic things! He said he may have to................. I cant even bare to say it.......... he wants to ban me from all Disney web sites! I cant even believe it! Im not purposely looking!
For example... I was looking at what the in room menu for the Poly would be(thinking I might need sustinance sp?) and the first thing I see is a romantic dinner in your room for two!

I need help! I am an addict and he wants to take my drug!!!! :guilty: :goofy: :tigger: :mickeyjum

I know what you mean. My hubby has been the same way. I just can't leave the forum board alone. He said that it was beening to be obsessive compulsive! LOL!

OMG...what agony! There is no way I could bear not having say in WDW planning. I love setting up the ADRs, hotel, tickets, etc...that is half the fun!

When he's away the mouse will play.

that would cruel and unusually punishment....tell him it against the constitution..... :thumbsup2

Yep, I just looked it up. It's against the law, somethin' about personal rights, or personal space.

We can do whatever we want, this is America!!!

Lol..aww Tammy, he just wants you to be surprised (and for you to tell him over and over that he is amazing) when you get there and his planning goes into effect.

I'd let him do it...but I don't think I'd be able to stay off the boards...so when you find amazing things to do, why don't you start planning the NEXT vacation after your anniversary. It will keep you "fixed"...and you never know, he may just surprise the heck out of you with what HE plans!

It's only my two cents, but by not making any suggestions to him for this upcoming trip, your anniversary will be just that more magical no matter what he's cooking up...and there's always the chance that if you surprise him by not offering any suggestions, he may ask you for one or two...but this will take a lot of willpower on your part (I mean not to offer any unless he reeeeeally asks you) lol!

It would be fun to hear what you find (and plan) for the NEXT trip...and then hearing what DH actually did for your anniversary trip. I'm betting he hits a home run and you'll be really surprised.

Hey, thank your lucky stars he loves Disney and wants to plan a trip at all...there are many wives out there who would love to be in your shoes! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

good advise OZYMOE :thumbsup2

I think that you are very lucky to have a husband who cares so much about the same thing that you care so much about...WDW :goodvibes

MY husband secretly :rolleyes1 enjoys wdw but to get on the dis or actually plan some part or the whole trip would be out of the question for us....so enjoy his :groom: willingness to try to please you in this very speacial way  ....and take ozymoes advise and start planning the next one. :teeth:
Good luck w/ stealing away dis time :surfweb: ;)
