We are not going until Dec 6-13, but I am insane and consumed. This is our first family trip to Disney and probably won't go back for about 5 years. Going with DH, DS8, DS6, DD4, and the two grandmothers. Here it goes.

Chef Mic-Breakfast
Boma-Dinner
Mama Melrose-Dinner
Spoodles-Dinner
Rose & Crown- dinner

Cape May Cafe OR Biergarten-Dinner or Lunch (suggestions)
CRT or 1900 Park Fare-Breakfast (DD needs to see cinderella)

Any feedback would be great. (Do you think I should stop reading the boards and just pick, I keep second guessing!!!! ::MickeyMo

I'm still rethinking every PS I make and we are 81 days out! Your choices sound good I woud add Sci-FI lunch for an MGM day and if you have time Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner - its one of our favorites and its preplated so it's a snap with kids.

BTW you are not insane I've been thinking about my PSs for July 2005 since we came back in July 2004!

Hi and welcome to the DIS!
Just a couple of points I can make. Cape May Cafe does not serve lunch (to my knowledge). They have a fun character breakfast and a clam bake for dinner that we really like. Don't worry about non-seafood lovers because their dinner buffet has something for everyone. A what great desserts!
If you want to try for the castle be sure to call early in the day exactly on your 90 day mark.
I suggest you go over to allearsnet.com and look over the dining options. They list all the menus, prices, etc.

Hi Godwin,

Well, as with any request for opinions you will get some good and some bad! I've seen threads on these boards from people who love Chef Mickey's and people who hate Chef Mickey's.

I think your selections are fine! One word of caution: Cape May does not serve lunch, so that would have to be a dinner or a character breakfast.

And I assume you are aware of the baggage with the CRT breakfast: must call on the 90th day, at 7:AM ET, yada yada yada.....

Have fun and don't stress!!

Bob

i think you are doing great! have you looked at the menus on deb's site? www.allearsnet.com also, check out the december happenings on that site. i would recommend 2 events. one is the candlelight processional. you can do this w/or w/out a dinner package. we prefer the dinner package, just makes for a nice night out. reservations can be made probably sometime in the summer. just keep watching the boards and it will be on here when available. the other would be mickey's very merry christmas party(MVMCP). this is a "hard ticket" event. tickets will go on sale late summer/early fall. it is not every night and is only the first 2 weeks on december. as far as cinderella--try for breakfast at the castle and have 1900 as a back-up. something else the grandmothers and you might enjoy is afternoon tea at the grand floridian. hope this helps! more questions just ask! :earboy2:

thanks for the advice. glad to know cape may does not have lunch.

which do you like better, biergarten or cape may??

Again, just my opinion:

CAPE MAY, by about 1,000 miles.
