Please Remain Seated At All Times...Or DS Giving Me Heart Attack #587

Last night we took the kids to our local zoo to see the big Christmas display they have there. After we walked around, saw the lights, and the reindeer, we figured we would let them go on one ride. DH didnt need to come on, so me and the kids went on the merry go round. I stood between the 2 of them, each on a horse. They loved it, and laughed the whole time. Then it started slowing down a bit and stupid me said "I think its almost over". With that, in a split second Cameron jumped off the moving horse. Before I could even stop him, he completely fell off the merry go round...and we kept going around! I panicked for a second since I couldnt just leave Colton up on a horse and run after Cam, but when I came to my senses I picked up Colton to jump off too. With that, Cam came running alongside of the merry go round, cracking up. I was expecting broken bones, concussion, etc... and he was saying "That was fun!". So, other being a little dirty, and giving me major heart failure, he was fine.

Moral of the story, remember to remain seated at all times on rides, and be sure your kids remember too!

Kids are never boring are they? lol

That reminds me of when I saw my oldest get hit by a car. I was driving to pick her up and saw it happening. I tried to jump out of the car to do something, I don't know what, but the seat belt thankfully stopped me, since my car was still going down the road and I had two babies in it.
Gratefully it was winter and she had a big heavy coat on and a backpack. All that happened was a bump on the head and she was fine.

There wasnt a seat belt. That was the first thing I looked for when I got them on the horses.

Serena, that is so horrible. I cant imagine that kind of a heart attack. Thank God she was ok.
