We always like to go to Magic Kingdom the minute we get into Orlando, so I'd like to have a nice meal there as well... We've (myself and DH) been to Cinderella's Royal Table and had a nice dinner, so would like to try something else we might be missing.

Please, what are your favorite sit-down restaurants at the MK and why???

Thanks!! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

Crystal Palace and Columbia Harbor House. Crystal Palace has really good food and it's a character dinner so that's always fun. Columbia Harbor House is technically fast food but it's quiet and calm so it doesn't feel like it. And they have good food too. Just my opinions though. Hope that helps :earsboy:

we have enjoyed many meals at the plaza restaurant right off main street. the portions are large enough to share. very reasonably priced! :earboy2:

We like the Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. The food is good and plentiful. The characters there are dressed in colonial costumes. Atmosphere is very nice.

We also enjoyed the Liberty Tree Tavern--although we went for lunch which doesn't have characters. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun.

I knew there was one I was forgetting! Liberty Tree Tavern is a very nice sit down restaurant. I would recommend that one too :smooth:

Liberty Tree Tavern is always a must for dinner while at the MK. The food and service are both excellent. Dinners are served family style. I believe you get rolls with honey butter and regular butter, house salad, ham, pork, turkey, mashed potatotes, macaroni and cheese, stuffing and gravy. The dessert is some sort of apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Your drink is also included in the price. The price is $22.99 per person. Here is a link if you would like to see the menu for yourself - http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm#mk

My DH and I always enjoy having dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. It's nice to sit down after a long day at the MK and relax and eat some great comfort food. I hope you and your DH enjoy it as much as we do. :earsgirl:

I'm not trying to be an echo :teeth: but we like LTT and the Plaza Restaurant. The atmosphere is a little more "nice" at LTT but the food and service are great at both. It really depends on what you are in the mood for.

If I was going on the 1st night, I would either do Cinderella's Royal Table, as you usually do, or go to the Liberty Tree Inn character meal to get you into the Disney Spirit. The characters are great fun, and the food is good and plentiful!

Thanks everyone!!

We have PS for Tony's, but based on what everyone says here, I think I'm going to change that. We've never done LTT, so I think that would be a great start to our vacation!!

Thanks again!! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

We did LTT this summer and loved it . The food was very good and my kids loved the characters.

Have you ever considered Ohanas or Concourse Steakhouse? They are both restaurants inside the monorail resorts not MK but the food is wonderful. For some reason I've never cared for any of MK sit down restaurants. If you have never tried them at least save them for another time. We eat at both every trip now. Especially Ohanas it our families favorite.
