Please recommend a good album (or company)

Alright, after many repeated attemps, mypublisher is not uploading for me. Grrrr. So I want to buy a beautiful scrapbook for some pics I had taken (portrait pics, so I won't be actually "scrapbooking"). But I have to buy it online, hence my post.

I have certain wants:

First, it needs to be the standard large scrapbook - 12" x 12" I think? Then it needs to have about 20 pages of black paper. More is nice, less is not.

The cover needs to be classy - linen works for me. Prefer black but I'm open to colors.

Does this sound doable? I need to order ASAP so please help a sister out!

Hi! I have to go off topic here and say your trip reports are the BEST!!

Check out www.creativememories.com. They have some albums that have black pages and there are different covers (different colors, etc.) They are great quality, and you can order it and have it come directly to you (as opposed to through a consultant). I don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it's a place to start! Good luck!!

Do you want a scrapbook (you assemble, adhere pics to pages, etc) or a photobook (digital, upload, printed, mailed to you)? Are your portraits digital? That's what I thought from reading your post, anyway.

Creative Memories does not have a 12x12 digital one yet, though the 11x8 Simply Black one IS great. You can get it in linen and black "leatherette." I have a blue leatherette one.

I know several people who have used Shutterfly and been happy, but I have not personally used it.

The one other one I have seen in person and would never buy is Kodak.
