its not a good point. when you do that job you also deal with cabanas and you give them water wark towels sun sreen extra chairs, pretty much what ever they need since they pay up to 200 dollers for it. and i know this for a fact because like i said my gf has that exact jon at the royal pacific. the tips arent frequent but they are usually 20 dollers when they are given out. also you can reserve a chair by the pool and you frequently help those guest out and they tp as well if they liked the service. i promise im not saying any of this to show any one up i just want you to know everything about each job so my decision is easier

and i cannot work both because at both interview they specifically said they dont work around anyones hours so i cant afford to miss even one day from either job and the hours at Hr are 7 to 3 or 3 to 11. so i would never be able to open and probably lose that job. it would be amazing experince though. and 3 jobs damn! thats honestly intense lol but probably great in a resume

I did work at Disney, and I did get burned out working there. I still have friends that work at Disney. My post is based off of conversations with others and my own experience.

Sometimes I can have a conversation about it being the greatest job in the world, sometimes I'm bitter about my experience with the company. It's a great experience, but Disney/Universal is not the company to try and make a career out of it.

The OP asked for an opinion, I gave mine just like any one else.

Did any one read in the first post that this is over an $8 p/h job? Last time I checked, that wasn't a career paying job, even $10-$12 an hour isn't that great, and that's usually the cap out on the union positions (almost all the theme park jobs are union).

Hours at the parks rise and fall with the attendance. Jan-Easter is generally the hardest part of the year. Easter is usually the start of decent work weeks, then Memorial Day weekend, then comes the summer break. Waterparks have it the hardest of all, since they don't get the Christmas boost, at least not like the other parks.

Nope, not at all. Meaning, it didn't look good anywhere but in my bank account. They were all restaurant/bar jobs, and have never gotten onto a resume since then.



Aha, cabana, yes I can see that. I was thinking of the guy I saw, just standing there at the keycard gate, and thought I was missing something big! (and I was, since cabanas are big, LOL)

Bummer you can't work both; I think that would be interesting.

Aren't you on Disney's Do Not Hire list? I am pretty sure they don't put oeople on that for just any reason. So I'm not sure you are also the most objective person either to give advice. At least the OP is weighing job options. Aren't you also the one who said working wasn't for you? What was the last job you had in which you moved up?
