please post your schools Christmas break dates!

Looking for the crystal ball to telll me how bad the crowds will be... if you don't mind, can you please post where you live and when your kids break is?
I know myself and many other holiday travelers will be very grateful for this info!

I live in Louisiana and our christmas break is 12/17 - 1/03. We will be getting to the Contemporary Resort on 12/20/04.

We live in Northern Virginia and most schools here have off Dec. 23 - Jan 3.

We will be be taking DS out early and staying at WL Dec. 17-24. We can't miss MVMCP!

Another Northern Virginia (Loudoun Co.) with break from Dec. 23rd until Jan. 3rd. Boo Hoo! It is a short break this year!

I'm taking the kiddies out of school the first week of December though for our trip! We can't wait!

We're in far NE OK and have 12/23-1/4 off. However, being the fabulous mother I am, the kids are taking 1/5, 1/6 & 1/7 off to hit WDW after our cruise!

It really helps that mine are only in K and 1st grade!

We are in private school in GA, our break begins 12/17 at noon and we return on 1/4. Most public systems around Atlanta are taking the same dates, some releasing on the 16th and going back on the 3rd, some going back as late as the 5th, depends on teacher planning days that were scheduled around the break.

Finfan, thanks for starting this thread! My breaks here in 203 are the same as yours of course. We are going down on 10/06 (the kids will miss one day of school) returning home on Columbus Day. I was thinking about Christmas for 2005, it looks like lots of people don't get as much time off as we do, though some just take their kiddos out of school anyway. That, or maybe Thanksgiving week next year are maybes for us.....Lacee
