We are used to cruising on the Fantasy with the Aqua Duck so we were disappointed to hear the Wonder doesn't have one. Does anyone have some photos and reviews of the Twist and Spout? We have an 11 year old who loves big water slides and especially the Aqua Duck.

Our just-turned-11 boy liked it. He and his younger brother were not initially impressed, but then they rode it several times in a row one night and said depending on how you position yourself, it can go really fast. Check out youtube for videos of the newly refurbished Wonder. I think there was a good one that included the slide.

My 11yo wasn't a fan. She thought it was boring and not worth waiting in line. Disclaimer - we live in Phoenix and have had water park season passes the last couple of summers. I suspect my kids are jaded when it comes to water slides a bit, although I did find it somewhat curious that they were fine with the (extremely slow) water slide in the Grand Californian pool back in April and not the Twist n Spout. I suspect the time spent waiting in line was the issue. My kids are probably anomalies, though.

I think the fact that my kids did it one evening when there was no line was a big part of the enjoyment. They just did it over and over.

Here ya go. Twist N Spout taken this past November. I thought it was fun.... not a crazy slide by any means, but fun.

My (then 11 year-old) son and I did Twist 'n' Spout on the Magic (which also has it, in addition to Aqua Dunk) last year, and didn't think much of it. It feels like a younger kids' slide at a water park, or the kind of slide that would be more fun if you landed in a swimming pool rather than a shallow slide-end.

We both think that the Flying Jib slide at the Yacht & Beach Club's Stormalong Bay pool is more fun than Twist 'n' Spout, if that gives any context. Twist 'n' Spout is worth doing if you want a waterslide & there's little or no line, but it's nothing to write home about. The lack of a major water slide on the Wonder is a deficit & one reason that we aren't interested in sailing her on warm-weather itineraries.
