So sorry Ethan got hurt, but it turned out to be some special time with Mom for him! I love your countdown calendar! So cute about your MIL being that excited!

I put strips of double sided tape in rows and Ethan just put the mickey heads along them. We put a sticker over the number each morning...........I have a bunch of left over heads if you are in need!

I'd be happy to take some off of your hands. But, I don't want you to go to any trouble. Chuck will be taking the boys to Home Depot in early Feb. for their free kids' workshop and if need be I'll just have him do my dirty work for me.

On Saturday, d.Jay and I had a date planned with Bailie. We were going to take her out to dinner and then to see Bride Wars............well that changed when she asked if we could go to the mall instead.
While that might sound like a little less painfull to the bank account. It wasn't! We live a little over an hour away from the nearest mall! So I usually only go every 4 months or so, but when we do........it's painfull!

We also don't have a target locally, so that is always on my list of things to do. I got the boys some new swim trunks and swim shirts for the trip. And I made a visit to my favorite aisle before a trip.............................the travel sized toiletries aisle!!! I'm sure it would have been cheaper to just pack the regular size containers, but I can't control myself! I was in heaven trying to figure out a need for each item. Who said I should pack lightly?


On our drive home after a 7 hour shopping marathon, the brakes on the mini van started to grind and rattle. Not a good sign.............after 3 hours and $400 later they are fine. Why does this happen right after I spent way more than I should? Murphey's Law perhaps?

Anyhoo.....Here's some of the goodies from the shopping expedition.....

Is arranging and taking pictures of your travel sized items a form of mental illness??? my kids think so! I don't know why I bought the Ricola, other than it was sooo cute.

I had to take a trip down the scrapbooking aisle too! Notice Minnie on the carousel horse .....and the puffy cottone candy.

I had to get something for the Tinkerbell meet and greet......

I even found me a Tinkerbell shirt at Macy's.............Huner was a reluctant model....................
