Please pass the Prozac...............

Hi Winkers I just found your new Pre TR and read it today. I really only read your posts (DH is home and he wouldn't be too crazy about me sitting in front of the computer for 8 hours, lol). I think that's great that your MIL is so excited. We are taking my mom in Nov this year (yeah I can say this year) and I'm a little nervous about that.

I loved that she even got more excited about going to Epcot too.

I felt like it was my dd getting married, I can only imagine the blubbering mess I'll be when it is Bailie!

Wait until your sons get married

Ahhhhhh, the sweet sound of silence...........well other than the tv in the family room that I'm to lazy to go turn off.
Bailie and her friends went to one of the friends house to sleep over. Normaly I wouldn't have let her the night after friends being over here, but they've missed eachother over christmas break. Plus I'm sleep deprived.

D.Jay took the boys bowling....I was invited by Hunter as an after thought, but choose to sit at home. I haven't heard a high pitched squeal in over an hour............it's bliss!!

I vote for a silent night for you as well.

Happy New Year

Hurray for silence! I don't know how you did it- one female tween in our house watching Miley Cyrus on New Years Eve was enough to make me a bit looney!

Hi Laura! I don't blame you for not reading all the chatter. it can take alot to get through.

I'm really scared for my sons to get married...............I'm still #1!
but not for long.:sad1:

Luckily Bailie can't stand Miley Cyrus..........I feel the same way. Her over acting is just too much for me to handle.

Last night at this time I could hardly stay awake.............so as murphy's law goes..tonight I can't fall asleep.:confused3

It's given me some time to ponder the up coming trip and all that I still have to do.

I'm questioning some of my thinking.............like this....

Our first day we're at DHS untill @ 4:30 when we have to leave for Epcot and a 5:30 adr for Biergarten following that we have to go to the BC dock to catch a cruise at 8.

I'm just wondering if that's expecting too much out of a group of 7. And I know that by that time Ethan will be complaining he's tired.
Does anyone have suggestions on the easiest way to get from one place to another?

Are you expecting an answer from the swarms of people up.....;)

The friendship boats will take you from DHS to The International Gateway at Epcot, but it'll take you awhile, but is easier on the feet.

If you want to hoof it, you can take the pathway towards Epcot cut through the Luna Park Pool at the Boardwalk and the follow the Boardwalk to the International Gateway.

I'd perhaps leave DHS at 4pm....just so you're not rushing.

It cuts about 10 minutes off of the boat ride but it's a pretty long walk...but if you're not in a hurry, it's quite pleasant.

I think that would be the best plan...it'll give us a little break.
See, I didn't need a swarm of people to answer, just little ol' you!

i was gonna suggest the boat or walking but tourguidejordan already said that. another idea is to take a bus from DHS to the beach club and walk to epcot through the international gateway. that way you don't have to walk all the way through futureworld (like if you were to take a bus directly from DHS to epcot) and you'd get to see the beach club. the walk from the beach club to epcot isn't bad. you just go straight through the lobby, out the back door and take a left at the sidewalk near the water and it's literally like 5 minutes away. and like jordan said, i'd leave more around 4:00 so you aren't rushed.

Thanks for the ideas! I'm mostly worried about dragging 4 kids along. If it were just me and d.jay I wouldn't worry about it.
