Thanks for the intro to Ethan, looks like such a sweetie. I second being able to take the family on rides, just gives the parks a whole new meaning. I love how you said he still thinks you have some intelligence, I remember the days when I thought my mom was an idiot and dread the day when my kids are in those shoes!

My experience has been that once they hit 11 or 12 you suddenly have no brains and are a complete embarassment to them. i think they grow out of that as soon as they're on their own in the real world.

My kids recently were in our highschool's production of Oliver. Bailie, Hunter and Ethan were Fagin's boys, along with a few other parts and Evan was part of the stage crew. And since D.Jay runs the theater, he was in on it too.

I too remember when I had intelliegence it dissapeared for about 10 years and then came back in the form of repeating my words to the kids !! My words were "You have to go to College " Her's are College isn't an option you are going !! Sounds the same to me !! How did I get so smart 15 years ago !!

I'm the Mother in Law who is taking my grown sons, their wonderful wives, and our two little grandsons to WDW for a week in January. I hope my daughters-in-law have nothing but kind things to say. However, in reality, I am sure I drive them crazy. I'm kind of a "diva" grandma. Oh well. My husband and I are giving them the trip, all expenses paid, including dining, etc. They will have their own rooms at the GF. I hope we all have a good time, but I'm sure, if you asked them, they are stocking up on drinks.

What are you making pies for?

Thanksgiving !! The 3 kids helped including the 6 year old! I have pie dough on the ceiling after the pie is made as they get to play with the dough !! They are covered in flour etc. T he rule is though they have to totally clean up! For the 10minutes of fun they have it's usually 30 minutes of clean up, but they look forward to it each year!!

I think I do a pretty good job of hiding the fact that I'm obsessed with disney. I try really hard not to let my friends and family know that I can think of nothing but adr's and what resort to stay at. But last night..............I let the cat out of the bag.

Here's a phone conversation that occured at 8:05 p.m.

me~ Blushing......oh, well I don't know if I'd call me an expert.....

friends dh~ Well, I'm looking it taking the family to disney world and I'm a little overwhelmed, so I thought you could give me some tips on where to start.

me~ ..........30 minute speach espousing the glories of the resorts, magical express, adr's, ddp, the busses.....................
