I'm so happy Scrubs is back. The continuation looks good. Were any Disboarders fans of the original?

I haven't watched it, though I did love the original. But I just have to wonder... Is Hollywood so devoid of ideas that the best they can do is bring back a show that ended 16 years ago?

I don't think it's that they're devoid of ideas, it's that the original ideas that they do make aren't getting the viewers. Audiences are gravitating to the familliar right now, hence all the returning concepts, sequels, etc. Strong brands are the only things that seem to be selling at the moment. Certainly there are some new things that have found success, but overall the known-quantities are working, and with costs being what they are, Hollywood is looking for sure things.

I was going to try and watch it, but forgot all about. Were they able to recapture the magic? Sometimes reboots are more “going through the motions”, and the actors never get the old character rhythms back.

Loved the show back in the day. I heard about the reboot but then forgot about it. Not sure when exactly it started but I hope I'm not too far behind.

It just started last night on ABC.

I watched a little when it first came on but only saw maybe 2-3 seasons. When I heard about the reboot tried to stream from the beginning but never seemed to find time. I watched last night and enjoyed it but think I missed a lot was confused by some of the things.
