Please - Need Orbitz Car Rental Help!!

I am trying to reserve a car rental on Orbitz.com. I selected Budget as the car vendor. I entered my BCD code, but I also want to enter a coupon code.

How can I do this - does anyone know if its possible? I called orbitz, but I am not convinced they knew what was talking about.

I can use both codes on the budget rental site, but I wanted to book through orbitz so I could get the insurance for only $9 per day.

Can anyone help? Thank you very much!!

According to Orbitz website:

However, at this time we're unable to process any discount coupons.

I don't know if you can just purchase rental car insurance but if you're planning on purchasing travel insurance you should be able to add it for about the same price Orbitz is charging.

Well, that explains it. Thanks for the information. I'm sorry to read it though. We are not getting trip insurance, so that option won't work for us. This is a trip to TN next week for a school competition. Travelocity will let me enter both codes, but they don't offer the cheap car insurance.

Any other suggestions?

I have a capital one visa card that I can put the car on, do you think that coverage would be enough? I'm not sure what the difference is. We have liability insurance on our own cars that will carry over to the rental, but we don't have comprehensive/collision.
