Please make the man in your life do a monthly exam also!

Just had a heartbreaking experience this week.

The 27 year old son of our children's pediatrician died of testicular cancer. By the time he felt bad, it had metastasized (sp?) to his lungs and he died 28 days later.

Please, on the day you do your monthly breast exam (do you do it?), have your DH or DB or DF or SO do a testicular exam.

Sorry if this makes you feel uncomfortable to ask, but it may save his life.

Don't forget about your DS's! If you don't teach them about it before they are out of the nest, they may not ever learn. This is especially true for children born with undescended testicals. They need to start checking sooner, so they are aware of what is normal for them. (and to become more comfortable with the whole process ) Thank you for this important PSA.
