I think it was some sort of "I'm still a good mom, putting her in a blanket with a sticker." Not about Caylee, but about Casey because she only does things for Casey. Making Casey feel like she 'took care' of Caylee at the end. That would be my guess.

I agree. Even though she hoped no one saw it, I think, like everything she does, it was all about show and all about her.

That's how I see it too. I can't imagine what kind of person could hurt their own child, but I also don't think that she never felt anything for Caylee, but I also don't think for Casey it was probably EVER about Caylee... I think it was ALWAYS about Casey, and in her own sick, very immature way I'm sure she did "love, care for" Caylee, and I would guess the heart stickers and blanket was her way of showing that at that time. I'm not sure if any of that makes sense, but basically I would assume they weren't put there in some kind of sick twist, but more so as a sign of "love" from Casey. Please don't get me wrong, I think she should spend the rest of her life in jail or be put to death for what she's done, but I think it was really all about her just being selfish as oppose to her intentionally being a killer...or I guess I could just be very naive

from what i understand, Casey, and Caylee lived with George and Cindy--?! Did casey ever come home at night, and if she did, did they think caylee was spending the night --Every Night--with the nanny?? that makes no sense to me.

I wondered that too. Has anyone said? What did Casey's parents think? Did she steal that whole time to get money? What about tax returns?? I'd think that living in the same house, the parents would know if a tax return was filed and a refund check expected. Altho, I'm thinking in terms of my own normal family. The kids ask questions about their taxes, DH does their returns. Maybe Casey just said someone was doing it for her. She lies so freely.

From what I have read the speculation is that Casey would leave with Caylee to "go to work" and then wait until her parents left the house and return home. There is also speculation that she used the abandoned house down the street to hideout or to stash a drugged Caylee so that she could go party. Because of the chloroform found in the trunk there are thoughts that Casey would knock Caylee out with chloroform and stick her in the car trunk while she went to party or slept over at a boyfriend's house. Sometimes Caylee did go inside a boyfriend's house and sleep over.

Overnight George has been missing and an all out man hunt has been on to find him. Evidently George sent suicidal text messages to his family while he was missing and the police were called. He was found around 3am in a hotel in Daytona Beach area with half written sucide notes (according to Webslueths). GPS was used to find him because George has onstar in his vehicle. He is now under observation for 72 hours. I feel so bad for George. This is a terrible situation for his family. Good Lord, what next!

Although George has never seen balenced, in a way I always felt like he was the sanest and most logical of the bunch. Can you imagine dealing with not only this situation, but having to deal with Casey and his wife everyday?

Hi, new to the thread but not to the topic. I've been following this one for a long time and just found this thread!

The part I want to know is...what did the half written note say?!? Hope there was something useful in it and hope George gets the help he needs. He lost his entire life when you think about it, and he was the only one who was forthcoming to the police. I feel sorry for him.

Perhaps it was George that found Caylee's body-and then, knowing that his daughter did it-placed the body in the woods to try and protect Casey??

I find it absolutely ridiculous that everyone is so quick to jump on George and say he had a part of this. Beyond devastated wouldn't even describe how I would feel if I was in his shoes knowing my own flesh and blood killed my grandaughter. I would question my will to live on also if I've been through what this family has been through.

I've been living with this story pretty much 24/7 since Caylee was taken. (which is why I don't post here much) It's been non-stop coverage down here-and yes, we speculate on just about everything at this point.

Personally, I don't think Casey cared enough about Caylee to place her body in a blanket or put that sticker on her mouth. I think Casey would have just dumped the body and been on her merry way. As a PP said-the placement of the body clearly showed care and concern-which doesn't seem likely from Casey given what we've seen and heard of her.

I think George could have tried to protect his daughter. Look at it this way-he finds Caylee, he's already lost her. He knows Casey did it, and she's still his daughter. I think it's quite possible that he would, as a former cop and a loving parent and grandparent, place the body where someone else would find it to try and protect what family he has left.
