George Anthony is a Security CM at WDW?

That's what they just said on Nancy Grace. I had not seen that mentioned anywhere before.

I know! I had never heard that before either. I wonder if it is a new job? Also, according to the Lee papers, George wasn't in law enforcement all that long; I think he said 6 or 7 years.

I haven't gotten through all the 317 pages yet...but these interviews are very telling and on NG last night LPadilla pointed out that Casey was making a point to alert everyone to the smell in the car ahead of time, thus baiting her story.

My Mom said she remembers hearing a while back that George worked Security for a company (never named) and took a leave of absence when this whole thing started. He was gone for so long that they fired him.

If he worked for Disney, you can generally only take a 30 day LOA.

Good to know. He probably works somewhere in the Disney "area" - maybe at a local hotel or something - and the person on NG got it wrong.

I have thought from the beginning that the whole family is involved somehow with Cayley's disapearance. Or the very least they know what has happened and they are protecting Casey.

Whether or not the family helped, I am convinced they all know what happened at this point.

I don't know about that.

I don't think the grandparents are the main blame here.

It's Casey.

The grandparents have done A LOT of things that are making me ? their motives at this point.

But I REALLY think that the rotting pizza story was a denial thing. I mean..they had to of been VERY confused. And I'm sure still are.

Truth be told,
If Casey is as good at manipulating people as everyone makes her out to be. Then I am guessing she could have fooled her parents right along with everyone else.
I mean..the two people that gave life to her..the two people who have stood by her lies and believed that all she needed was "help" for years and years. Are going to be the same two people who are NEVER going to want to believe that their only daughter could KILL their grandchild. And sadly might fall victum to her lying ways as well.
I mean...if you or I were that deep in denial....who know's what we would be thinking and doing.
And for the rest of us to watch them in a fishbowl and judge is kind of one sided.

Lilygator...Thanks for all the great info and links. What a wealth of information. I want to read the text's as well. I think they will be SO telling. An opportunity to get inside her mind and try to peice this all together.

Every day I am convinced more and more of mom (Casey's) guilt.

I am still very angry at the grandparents (George and Cindy) for letting mom's (Casey's) lying get out of control (to the point that they have now lost a family member) before they went to authorities for help.

I am just very thankful that grandma Cindy finally put her foot down and reported Caylee as missing, regardless of the lies their daughter (mom Casey) was telling them.

How many weeks of Caylee missing are we going on now???

I've been trying to research this - so far I've found this conflicting info from interviews given by Caylee's Great Uncle, Cindy's brother Rick and Trumbull County Ohio Sheriff Tom Altiere :

Trumbull Sheriff Tom Altiere worked with George Anthony when both were in the detective division from 1974 to 1983.
or
Anthony was a Trumbull detective from 1974 until 1985 and left the sheriff’s department at that time.
or
Eddy said George Anthony was a Trumbull County sheriff's deputy and retired from the department before moving to Orlando in 1989. "He was a great sheriff's deputy and a homicide detective," Eddy said.

So I don't know which dates are correct - BUT the one thing that stands out to me is that I never realized that George Anthony had been a HOMICIDE DETECTIVE

I had to step back from this case for a while - I kept having dreams I was watching someone (? protester?) strangle Casey with a piece of rope around her neck - yikes!

After I told DH that I think he kept one eye open when we slept just in case I mistook him for her in the middle of the night!

I haven't gotten though them but I really feel sorry for Amy. And as lame as it sounds I am really proud of her (well at least as proud as one can be of a stranger.) She could have run far far away from this mess but she has stepped up and filed charges.

I saw on Today an interview w/ a woman (an atty maybe?) who believed LE are building the case & trying to decide what degree of murder charges they are going to charge her with...

all the files that have been released have been saved and are posted on websleuths....one poster (someone else split the cost too I believe) even paid Kinko's to fed ex all the docs that the media had not posted. That included the text messages, etc.
