I was taught when someone told you to be "quiet" about something....you are to run in the other direction screaming the truth to whoever would listen.

If I remember correctly, Caylee's father died last year in a car accident. She had no contact with his family. So sad, all around.....wonder what kind of life she'd had if she had more eyes (ones that really cared) watching her......

Casey's 'ex-fiancé' calls her in the afternoon to tell her he has resigned from the Orlando Police Department. (June 24)

Here is my question - Why is he referred to as her 'ex-fiance' on this date (June 24), whereas in earlier reports they call him the 'boyfriend' (Anthony - Tony)? June 14.

Reports have stated that her boyfriend is an ex-cop.

Just a small detail, but were they engaged sometime between June 14 and June 24?

Right now as a matter of fact Casey's mom is on Larry King Live on CNN. Very informative. She believe her daughter and believes she will be cleared .
I hope and pray they find this girl, but even if she is found alive... Casey still needs to be smacked upside the head for being such a neglectful jerk.

I agree. I mean its great to have hope... but come one... a mom just doesnt not see her child for a month. And why was she lying to the mom about why Caylee couldnt talk on the phone??? Good grief! The mother and the grandmother... this poor kid is screwed!
Casey sounds so unsincere in her phone calls. If my child was missing, i wouldnt even be able to speak!

Excellent question - have you heard the conversations between Casey's brother, Lee, and her - Casey (mom of Caylee)? Lee seems quite grounded.

I *think* she has, I believe she even led law enforcement to the exact address of the 'babysitter' (which turned out to be another false lead), but I am not sure on that.

When he asked her if there was anything she could tell him to aid in HIS search.... to me that seemed like he was trying to 'play' her, for a lack of a better word. Yet she didnt give anything up.

Yep, I agree. It does sound like he is 'playing' her, but it sounds like he is 'playing' her for more information about Caylee.

Yeah.....Casey was "conducting her own search" for Caylee in nightclubs just like O.J. searched for "the real killers" on gold courses all over the US.

I agree about the brother. He is making sure she thinks he is on her side so he does not get crossways of her, but in reality I think he's trying to get any snippet of REAL info out of her that he can. But she's giving NOTHING up. I noticed he mentioned to her that she should talk in specifics and not generalities and then she went off on how she's done just that, yada yada. I think he's the only one in that family that is at least considering the possibility she is responsible for Caylee's disappearance.

Like all compulsive liars, she thinks she is smarter than everyone else. When she is caught in a lie, she tells another lie to cover up for the one she was caught in. Then she assumes the listener is gullible enough/she is smart enough that the new lie has worked its magic. It doesn't matter how smart the listener is....it could be a Nobel Prize winner, a genius or even Sherlock Holmes...and the liar will still believe THEY are smarter and can fool the listener. She fits that profile to a T.

I was watching Nancy Grace last night and they were going over tapes of her talking to her brother Lee. She asked for her boyfriends phone number. Lee didn't really want to give her to number for whatever reason, and she flipped. She was cursing, tell him that she didn't want him or the rest of the family at the bail hearing, etc. She just doesn't seem like a stable person at all - I mean, now shes alienating the only people that somewhat believe her. Its just so sad, I just hope they find that little girl, dead or alive, just to put this to rest, and get that "mother" in her new residence - a jail cell or 6 feet under.

They said on the news last night that there is somewhere around 68 Zenaida Gonzalez in just Florida. There are way more than that throughout the US.

I can't help but think she picked a hispanic name to make sure that the trail will get fuzzy in Mexico. She is more shrewd than she appears.

I just hope that if Caylee is found alive... that someone keeps her away from Casey. I want to believe with every part of me that that baby is alive... but it is so hard.
