The search warrant - very interesting, explains a lot.

The grandfather early on told the cops that he thought Casey was withholding information. He even said he thinks something happened to Caylee. This is in the search warrant. This was all on the same day that the cops took Casey to look for Caylee. When they brought her back, George went out to the car and told them what he thought.

I'm really confused by the latest, The found a woman by the name of Zendla Gonzaleo or whatever her name is She has claimed to have no idea who Casey or Caylee is. She has told police that her life has been ruined all of this she cant get a job and whatnot. I know that Casey is LIAR but how in would she make up a name like that and be able to give a description to the police that matched what the woman actually looked like

This is the one thought that keeps running through my head....I'm sure I'm not the only one. Assuming what everyone thinks is correct...how could you bury your beautiful 2 year old daughter and then move her...holding her lifeless, decomposing body...without totally falling apart. How can anyone be that cold and deal inside their heart to do this????????

I don't remember the Susan Smith case consuming me this much...and I followed it. She's still in jail, right?

Susan Smith gave in and told the truth after a few days or so. She was convicted and is spending the rest of life in jail. I think another inmate beat her up a few years ago, though. She will be there for the rest of her natural life.

Tommorow is little Caylee 3rd birthday. I hope and pray somehow someway she will make it home

She probably saw the name somewhere. I haven't seen where she described Ms. Gonzales. She probably just described what you would think someone with a hispanic name would look like.
Susan Smith described someone that didn't exist too before she admitted to killing her kids.

Yes, but when the police showed Casey pictures, even ones of this Zendla or whatever her name is, she had never seen her! I am sure they did it in a way to see if she could identify her, but she didn't...which means she did make the entire thing up. She might have just looked that name up on the Interenet for all we know.

Didn't Susan Smith at least act like she cared? Casey doesn't at all!

I've been following the case pretty closely and I, too, never heard anything about Casey giving a description that was similar to what Z. Gonzalez. actually looked like either. Like someone else said, Casey couldn't even pick Z.G. out of a lineup. I think the media should stop harping on the Z. Gonzales aspect of the case. It's a moot point. Nothing but a pack of lies, so the media should move on. I'm sure the police have.

Apparently Zeneda Gonzalez is a pretty common Hispanic name. I heard there are 400 people with that name either in FL or in that area, not sure which.

I had problems with the interview with Z. Gonzalez. Ok, so she has had the hassle of having to deal with cops, etc. She happened to have a name Casey chose to lie about. When Zenada said, "I say to Casey, why me?" I say, heck, why not? One name is no different than the next. If it wasn't Zenada it would be someone else. Then Zenada says, "My life has been ruined. I can't get a job." Omg, if she didn't have a job before, there's no reason for her to use this excuse now.

Her life is ruined? Give me a break. In a year from now, no one will even care or even remember Zenada Gonzales. Talk about a persecution complex. Things happen to people for no reason, Zenada, get on with your life. Instead of whining and complaining, how about focusing on the fact that there is a little girl missing.

I noticed on Forensic Files, all these people who cry with no tears are usually guilty.

I guess I will never understand how people think they can get away with murder.

Yeah, I have noticed that too. Now, I on the other hand would be crying my eyes out no matter what and I would have to immediately tell on myself, I guess I just would have a guilty conscience.

I sure hope this Casey doesn't get away with it, looks like she might not, her lies are all adding up.

I can't believe thay have requested another trial to reduce her bond, with all the new evidence and continuing lies. They have denied her once, twice actually, do they think the judge will give in now :confused3

I was wondering how it could've possibly affected her that much, too.. :confused3 Like anyone BELIEVES Casey!

I think Ms. Gonzales is trying to find her own 15 mins of fame as a victim of this mess. The only victim is the baby.... for just being BORN in that ridiculous family.:sad2:

in cases like this I am all for the police using whatever means to get her to talk.

Theory Suggests Caylee Anthony Drowned In Family Pool

POSTED: 4:47 pm EDT August 8, 2008
UPDATED: 6:14 pm EDT August 8, 2008

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Eyewitness News got details Friday of a working theory held by investigators that little Caylee may have drowned in the family swimming pool. A source close to the investigation revealed only to Channel 9 a working theory of the crime involving Caylee drowning and what may have happened next.

The source said some investigators believe a flurry of phone calls from Casey to her parents on June 16 could be an indication that whatever happened to Caylee happened that day. On that day, Casey and Caylee were last seen together by Caylee's grandfather George at the Anthony family home where they lived.

Caylee Marie Anthony loved the water and some investigators are considering whether that has something to do with her disappearance.

The theory is based on the following facts.

Fact #1: Casey Anthony's phone records show a flurry of unanswered phone calls to her parents on June 16.

Some believe that could be because that's when something happened to Caylee. A possibility being considered is Caylee could've gotten into the backyard pool on her own and was discovered too late.

Fact #2: Eyewitness News was told the Anthony family was careful to keep a ladder near the pool safe from Caylee, but that around the time of her disappearance the ladder was up.

"Boy, how she can just figure things out. We, of course, as every family would, we've had to childproof everything and she's smart enough to take it off," Lee Anthony said.

Fact #3: A neighbor says, right around the time Caylee disappeared, Casey had backed the car up to the garage, which the neighbor said was unusual, and borrowed a shovel for about an hour.

Fact #4: The car was later found abandoned at the Amscot at Goldenrod and Colonial and was towed. When Casey's parents found out and got it back weeks later, Caylee's disappearance began to unravel. Caylee's grandmother called 911 and made a frantic plea for help.

"There's something's wrong! I found my daughter's car today and it smells like there's been a dead body in the damn car!" Cindy Anthony said in the call.

Fact #5: Investigators said they found evidence in the car that indicated Cindy Anthony's statement was true and the FBI is testing it to verify that.

"The first 24, 48 hours I had the 'what if, what if, what if.' I also went over all of it with the sheriff's department. Sgt. Allen can tell you that I sat down with him and talked about different things. He made me feel a lot better when they examined the pool, around the pool area, because, to me, that would be the riskiest place that something could have happened," Cindy Anthony said Friday afternoon in response to the theory.

This is not the only theory investigators are considering, it's only one of them. They're still hoping to find Caylee alive.

Channel 9 has also learned that new technology is being used to try to find out if in fact there was a dead body in Casey's car. A new lab test is being used on a sample from a stain found in the trunk of the car. A new device tests gases emitted from the stain to determine whether there's evidence of decomposition.

that poor poor baby. The should put her low-life mother into general population. Only bad part about that is they would never get to the bottom of this, because she wouldn't last 2 hours.

They talked about the pool theory on Greta last night and Cindy did say that if something happened with the pool, Casey would've called her since she called her all the time when Caylee was sick, etc. She said that she had known someone to drown and come back and that Casey would've been smart enough to call. There was also something about the pool ladder being put up by Cindy and when she came home later she noticed it was down. She asked George, he didn't put it down so Cindy said it could've been the neighborhood kids. I think the Pool theory makes sense. Maybe Casey was inside (with someone or on the phone with her boyfriend), came out and found her. If the neighbors saw her car backed up to the garage, I bet she put her in the trunk, let her sit in the trunk for several days somewhere, then took her out, disposed of her body and abandoned the car.

I really hope I'm wrong of course. It makes me incredibly sad to see those pictures of Caylee being flashed on the news and not even making it to her third birthday tomorrow :sad1:
