ok since ap rates are out im thinking ofchanging my plans i have right now 9 nites at the dolphin for 159 per nite total with tax and resort charge is 1690 . dollars. I can get an ap and stay at a moderate for 110 per nite tax in cluded total 990 dollars even spending the extra 198 for my ticket im still saving quite a bit 700 dollars on the room . plus with the ap i could use the food discounts so that would save me money too i dont know what to do please give me your imput what would you do. weve only stayed at a value resort our last 2 trips so im sure either resort will be nice .

The Dolphin is a great hotel and you were lucky to get such a good rate. I couldn't get that rate in March and had to pay $199 AP rate at the Contemporary. You will be so glad that you paid a little more for the deluxe. The location is fabulous and the pool is fun. You will have lots of great counterservice food options on the Boardwalk, World Showcase, and Tubbie's. The AP dining discount is sit downs only.

I think $700 is an amount that's hard to ignore. Plus with the DDE, you'll have a chance at more savings. I'd say go with the AP and the Moderate. Now it's a question of finding the one that you like best.

Enjoy it! Planning the trip is part of the fun...especially when you're saving! :earsboy:

The $700 is a good piece of change. You can also buy the DDE card for $50 if you are an AP holder and get 20% off meals - that really adds up. Since you've stayed at values before I think you'll be very happy at a moderate. All three are very nice, I'm a little partial to POR. Have a wonderful time.

i was just thinking id save even more because i can use magical express instead of getting a towncar. im still deciding its keeping my mind busy :rotfl: i was also thinking to save money because my hubby likes the look of pop we mite stay there 5 nites and 4 at the dolphin and id still save 480 dollars i just figured that out so i may say heck with the ap and do that.see i am looking to save alittle money on our trip due to a little financial crunch.
