Hi! I have a terrible situation. We are travelling in september for free dinning, we already have all our ADRs for 5.

But today a friend, tell us that he wants to travel with us. I cannot make new ressies, because all the restorants are sold out.
We have ressies at Chef Mickey, Akershus, 1900 Park Fare etc. All of them are for 2adults and 3 kids.
My question is; Can we get there with one more adult, without changing the reservation???

You can always try but I think you will have a really hard time with getting sat without a wait if at all.

here is why....Disney lectured us on this last trip...they have to follow fire codes and only so many people can be in the restaurant at the same time.
We made the mistake of saying our party was for 4 but we had a tiny lap baby with us and didn't say 5...when they went to seat us we got harassed about it and had to wait longer. now this was 1 time (all the other times we said 5)...but...they are very particular about it....

so you can't just say...oh we will squish in the booth if we could...you know??

so I would call and try to change your ADR's....just to be safe

I would keep trying to get new ADRs but if you can't I think you should be okay. Your going from 5 to 6 which means the same size table. If you were going from 4 to 5 it would be more of a problem. I'm surprised that Disney lectured PP on fire codes. I would imagine that at the same time you'll be there with one more there will be some there with less than they ADR for. People get tired, sick, etc.

But go ahead and call and see what they say. If they say nothing is available I would check online. Then you'll get options if what you want isn't open.

but 2x we had ADRs for 4 at CM and my mom (who is local) decided to join us at the last minute. Both times when we checked in we said we had 5 and we were seated immediately, with no problems. I would say from 5 to 6 would be even less trouble.
