Please help with Planning trip Fall 2021

Resort choices (we need to pick 1 and stick with it) OKW , BRV,CCV,BWV - need either 2 Studios or 2bedroom.
We're bring our Adult Daughter. I want her to have her privacy,because she stay up late and we get up early.
Besides Food and Wine, Mickey's Halloween Party, What else would be going on? Oh, How's the weather during those times.

It's not Disney but I do love Universal's Halloween Horror Nights.

And it will probably be quite warm. in the october dates. November, probably mid 80s as a high.

That week in November could be Jersey Week?

And since it is, as mentioned, the 50th, I'm sure there will be things going on that have yet to be announced.

Haven't had a chance yet to ask our daughter what her thoughts are, she works too much and needs Disney.
What about the Resort we picked ??
Would it be better to book Studio or a 2bedroom??

The points might be low, but the crowds aren't. As long as you are aware (and I do not know if that is even Jersey Week)

Are you using DVC points or cash? BWV will have you in walking distance of Epcot for Food and Wine but hard to book unless it is your DVC home resort. Wilderness Lodge (my fav)- BRV & CCV (newer rooms, located in main building) just a boat ride away from MK & the monorail to Epcot. OKW- large rooms, close to Disney Springs but not close a park.

A studio is not going to give your daughter the privacy that you mentioned she needs...unless you’re thinking of 2 studios? Whether you choose studios or 2BR, BWV is going to be tough if you don’t own there because all 2BRs are lockoff.

In fact, studios at any resort will be difficult to get at 7 months for the 50th Anniversary/F&W/MNSSHP period. Book where you own, switch at 7 months if you can.

My choices, in order of preference, would be BWV (proximity to Epcot), CCV, BRV (boat ride to the MK). OKW is last on my list unless you want a laid back visit. The studios have 2 real beds and the 2BR villas are extremely roomy.

We own at OKW and AKV. I was thinking 2 studios at OKW, but my daughter doesn't think an extra bed is necessary.
Just stayed AKV in December.

Good plan to secure a room at your home resort for the dates you want. That is what our family does. I usually set a calendar alarm at the seven month mark. Then get online the night before to scout out what’s available and crunch points. That way I have a plan of action when booking opens in the morning.

Those are all hard dates to switch to two studios at 7 months, but especially the October dates. You run into the 50th and into Columbus Day Week.

Went back to look at the 2bedrooms at my Home Resort OKW, and how do you make sure my reservation is for a 2bedroom Lock Off and not 2bedroom Decided??? Is there an option to pick which one you want??

When the options are shown for what’s available if you only see “two bedroom “ and the lock off is not showing, it’s not available. Look for “not seeing what you want” click on it and you will see the nights if any that the two bedroom lock off is available.

That seems odd. But I don't think I ever saw a option for "not seeing what you want". I'll have to give it a try if I am unable to get it .

Will more than likely we'll change Resort at 7 month mark are Barrow from both contracts to get a 2 bedroom L/O
