You could also start off with a smaller contract. We own 100 points at BWV and get a lot of mileage out of it. We've supplemented with transfers, 25% off DVC cash rate, and AP rates.

If Vero works out better for you financially I would buy there. Your kids will grow up faster than you thought possible (in my experience), and your idea that you will never stay at VB could very well change.

These boards are full of postings from people wondering why their teens don't want to go to WDW for the 20th time in 10 years.

I own at VWL and actually have never stayed there (even though I like it there). Have had no problems at 7 months booking BWV boardwalk view or anywhere else.
