Hi Guys,

I'm looking to book the Yacht Club for a special celebration for my partner and I for two nights while we are staying off protperty for 16 nights. Can anyone recommend good websites to book on that aren't as expensive as disney direct. The cheapest I have found so far is £373 for two nights pool/lagoon view. Is this a good deal?

I'm going to yacht club too, next September. Booked it all through virgin holidays, so couldn't give you a price break down, sorry!

thomas cook had yacht club on at great prices when booked as a package so you could try them

I am looking for the 11th to 13th september. I already have my flights booked and my accomodation off property so it would be a hotel only booking I'd be making at the YC.

Why not try the Swan or Dolphin same area within walking distance of and HS and boats stop here as well also transport for other Disney parks

Thanks for the suggestion, I've been looking at alternatives. I feel stuck because I have a ADR for Le Cellier so I'd like to be able to walk back to the boardwalk and I wanted to say at YC/BC for the amazing pool! I'll need to do more research I think because the original deal at 337 is 'no longer available' the best deal I can get now is £440. It's a lot of money but I love the boardwalk so much! The Swan and Dolphin could be a back up but I don't know much about it. Back to the drawing board!

A garden view room at the YC for those dates is 342. Do you really want the pool/lagoon view?

Well I thought the view would make it special. Do you think maybe it's not worth the added expense?

If I was staying 2 nights it wouldn't be that important for me as I would be enjoying the atmosphere of the hotel and things going on there - such as Stormalong Bay and being able to catch the boat and walk to Epcot or the Studios. I don't think you will be in your room that much!!

I think this is a lovely resort and I too would like to stay there one day :goodvibes

We stayed at WL and we had a 'woods view' room, but TBH it didn't make any difference once we were there.

We booked a package through CO at the Beach Club, 11 nights with the dining plan and park tickets works out at £272 per night (not including the flights and car hire. (£2112 accommodation + £886 park tickets / 11) for 2 adults and 2 children. Standard view.

We got a surprise upgrade from a Standard View to a Lagoon view this May,and i agree it did make the stay at YC more special.Would i have paid for it? Probably no as for the 13 nights we were there it would of cost £2500 more:scared1: but for a few nights, and if you can afford it so it doesn't impact on other parts of your holiday i would say, go for it:thumbsup2
Heres the view

Here's an alternative.

Just checked the Disney Vacation website for availability at their resorts and while there's no availability at the Beach Club in a studio for the night of the 11th there is availability at The Boardwalk in a Deluxe Studio - Garden or Pool View for those two nights for 30 points or a Deluxe Studio with Lake View at Bay Lake Towers for 34 points.

You might be able to rent these points from a DVC member for between $10 to $13 per point, so a maximum of $390 (about £260) for the 2-nights at The Boardwalk.

Also checked for a 1-bed and there's availability at the Beach Club for 2-nights from the 11th Sept at 27 points per night. That's a great room and priced between $270 to $351 per night.

I would suggest the 1-bed as the best option for a special celebration, that's as long as you can find a member renting points at $10 each, so for the two nights, $540 about £360.

Forgot to add that the cost of these 2-nights at The Beach Club Villas in a 1-bed including tax if booked on the US Disney web site would be $1,125, so basically half price if you can rent those 2-nights from a DVC member at $10 per point.

While a studio for those 2-nights at The Beach Club Villas would cost $776.26.

To check out the room layouts and photo's of the studio and 1-bedroom check out the following link..... http://www.dvcnews.com/index.php/resorts/beach-club-villas/maps-a-photos.

Also, if those two nights are the last of your holiday and you're flying out of Orlando International then you will have the option to use Disney's free Magical Express to return you to the airport.

Good luck with working out those two special nights and if renting DVC points might be one of your options then check it out as soon as possible as those rooms might not be available for long.
