Next Monday I am going to do Epcot's evening magic hours and try for the 6pm Guardians Virtual queue. I can't seem to find if there are any unique rules/requirements for this draw - like do you have to be in the park at 6pm to try or anything like that?

Thanks in advance for the help!

You don't have to be in the park. Apparently all you need is to be staying at a qualifying resort, and valid admission to Epcot.

You do need to have a park reservation at Epcot for that day, or be able to hop to Epcot.

Be aware that reports on the other thread indicate they were gone in milliseconds. Like, faster even than the 7 AM and 1 PM slots.
There are fewer of them to go around (fewer hours) so yes, they go fast. You can’t delay in trying. Use time.gov to coordinate timing

Can the 3 of us try for the VQ at the same with the same MDE account? Just wondering how to maximize the chances of success.

yes, you can have multiple eligible persons select the same party and try for the VQ.

I am not following how you can use a website like time.gov while in the MDE app? Can someone explain or screen shot how that works?

This is not from first-hand experience, but I was just watching a vlog from Paging Mr. Morrow and he reported that someone was able to get the virtual queue at 6:03pm.

And, several people reported being able to ride 3 times.

Don't believe this report at all.
I was there and personally looked at 6:03 and there was no VQ spots left then.
Someone may have reported by 6:03 they got their spot but when they got their spot it was before 6:03

Open time.gov on 1 device
Open MDE on another device, follow Disney's instructions to have the VQ page open and ready to click refresh at the indicated time
Watch Time.gov for 6:59:59
Click Refresh on MDE, Click Join Queue
Be VERY quick about it, do not blink at the wrong time (only half joking)

I just use my apple watch to count down.

If the queue opens at 6 shouldn't it be 5:59:59?

We were able to ride twice on Monday - without paying for ILL - because we were in a deluxe resort. Got boarding group 18 at the 7am drop, and then got group 166 at the 6pm drop while eating dinner at 'Ohana. Got called for that by 9:30pm.
