Give our school a hand. Below is part of a letter received yesterday-- the black part explains, the part in bold is the information you need to vote, and the part in red has the link for where you vote.
Congratulations! A thrid grade student from your school is one of the 24 finalists in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo's School Art Progaram, and you have the power to help the student and your school win fantastic prizes.
From March 3 to April 3, the top 24 Elementary School entries will be posted at http://www.ReliantPowerZone.com.
We encourage you and your faculty and staff to direct students, parents and friends to visit the web site to see the outstanding finalists and to vote for their favorites.
The artists of the three pieces with the most votes after April 3 will each receive $1,000 of art supplies for his or her school, a $500 gift certificate, and a Power of Art plaque.
The artwork from the student at your school is titled "To Thee Texas" and numbered 8780.
