Please help! UK car hire question

Hello, I'm taking a trip to the Lake District in a few weeks and am trying to get a good price on a car hire. My husband and I will be flying in to Newcastle airport and want to hire the car from Sept 12-18. I'm not sure where to find discount codes for the UK companies (usually use Mousesavers for deals in the US). Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The agencies at NCL are Europcar, National, Alamo, Hertz and Avis.

Reviews are also welcome, if anyone has experience with the NCL branches of these companies!

Only ever hired a car in the through my work so don't know of anywhere you could get discout codes.

I can only suggest checking each companies website to see if they have any deals on at the moment.
