PLEASE HELP! We are going to Disney in mid May and have 4 boys.Ages 7,12,14,and 16.Could anyone help me with deciding which resort they would enjoy the most? They love the idea of the slide at the pool with the moderates. We went last year for our first trip and stayed at All Star Sports.Enjoyed it there but thought we would try a moderate this time. This is my very first post but I already love these disboards!! It looks like the VERY best place to gain Disney info! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ANY INFO!!!!

I think your boys would enjoy the awesome pool area at Coronado Springs. I have never stayed there, but I have see the pool several times. It is the most impressive pool and water slide of any of the moderates. Plus I believe that CSR has two arcades vs. one for th rest of the mods. Have fun choosing!

Thanks for your suggestion! Someone at work had suggested POFQ to me but it doesn't look very exciting at all for my boys.I even thought about Pop Century. Thanks again!

My vote is CSR also, my kids LOVED the pool! I love this resort it really is gorgeous, I like the southwest/beach theme and the pepper market is wonderful!

We stayed at Coronado during our recent trip (October 10-14). Loved it! We never did get to swim in the Dig Site pool (main pool) but did see it. It is impressive! We spent most of the trip in Casitas 5 and the pool there is very large, as it has to accommodate Casitas 1-5. For the most part we had it to ourselves, except for one or two other people. The resort is very lovely! I think your boys will enjoy it!

You are planning on two rooms aren't you?! I would tend to agree with CSR...it seems that a lot of families with boys love this resort. I have seen families with boys having a good time at POR but maybe CSR is a better bet.

Depending on what time of year you are traveling, it might be cheaper to rent a villa from DVC owner instead of getting two rooms at a moderate. All the DVC resorts have wonderful pools and many of them have other recreation on site as well -- fishing, boat and bike rentals, etc.

If there are 6 of you , the best plan would be a DVC. They are wonderful. Even with 5 of you. DVC or Poly (one room) would be a better idea.

My kids say the POFQ pool is for the preschool set......they LOVE CSR :cool1: and that is their first choice of all.

Does CSR have the boat rentals - the little two person power boats???
