My wife and I are sitting here trying to deside on our ADR's, we can't decide between Tony's Town Square or Coral Reef. The day in question we'll be in MK but epcot is only a short monorail ride away. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Thanks,
Earl and Colleen

I say Tony's town square...when we first tried it, I was skepitical but the food was actually really good. 1 vote for tony!:yay: :yay:

Coral Reef ... to me they are so different but Coral Reef is hands down much better in food and atmosphere!

I didnt think much of Tonys... our food came out so quickly i didnt feel like it had been cooked freshly for us. It was tasty enough though! we felt a bit rushed as well.

Please don't waste your time or money/DDP credits

Our main course came less than five minutes after we got our main course and it was warm at best. The waiter was no where to be found, so I told another waiter. No one cared. The waiter asked me for my card when he asked what we wanted for dessert. I asked if he wanted to put it in doggy bag. The food was average, the theming just OK, service the worst we had.

Go see the fishies

I agree with that gooftrooper guy...Tony's food is far more superior than Coral Reef. I had the New York Strip from Tony's and found it to be extremely succulent and juicy and the service was fantastic. The aquarium is a nice touch but without it the food is just average.pirate:

Another vote for Coral Reef. My absolute favorite restaurant! :thumbsup2

I haven't been to Coral Reef but I can boldly claim that TONY'S is the worst restaurant we have ever eaten in our lives! We've been to Europe, the West Coast, East Coast you name it...we've had our share of "experiences" and to this day our kids will ALWAYS bring up that dining experience....if they are not liking a meal at another restaurant they'll say..."Well, it's not good, but it's nowhere near as bad as those noodles we had at that Lady & the Tramp place" If my son doesn't like a roll at a restaurant, my girls will always jump in (they were only 6 & 7 at the time) and say, "it's not as bad as those breadsticks at L&T place is it?" And they all roll their eyes and say "Oh yeah, don't remind me." It at the very least is memorable to us...

It's hard to believe there was a succulent steak there, I ordered their steak medium rare...it came burned with charred marks all over it and was DONE in the middle...I asked them to make another and they actually brought me the SAME steak, they just scraped the char marks off (how did I know, I had cut two x's in it checking for doneness and the exact same x's were in the same spots..oh did I say my steak first attempt came after EVERYONE had finished their meal..):headache:

I also was a bit skeptical of Tony's but in the end had a great meal. Wonderful service and most of us had the steak which was very good.

Coral reef has a nice setting but the food is just ok as well imo. Totally different than Tony's and in another park so it is hard to compare. I would recommend another restaurant all together. If you are at MK I would take a break and go to Kona, Grand floridian cafe, CG, Citricos, Artist point or one of the WS places in EPCOT like LeCellier.

I don't remember the food at Coral Reef, but I did like the atmosphere and I was left with an overall positive feeling.
Tony's was worse than Olive Garden. That was the best waiter that we had all trip though, he was fun and interesting.

I vote Coral Reef. Plus, I feel like its classic WDW. When there are sitcoms that go to Disney World, a lot of them go there.
