I was able to snag a Palo Brunch reservation for our upcoming cruise. The time listed said 10:00 until 12:00. Will this really take 2 hours? We have a shore excursion at 12:15 and I was hoping to be able to do both. Any opinions on if this is doable? I also made a Palo dinner reservation as a back up but would prefer to do brunch. Thanks !

It depends on how you eat. You can definitely get out of there by 12. They give you 2 hour slots so that if you are relaxed and eating slow you have time. Most of the brunch is self sevice but then the pizzas and some hot items you order. Just bare that in mind and you should be fine. I think I have taken 2 hours before but it really does depend on the number of you (this was with a large group) and how you feel.

Definitely doable. I would let the server know when you sit that you were looking to be out by XX:XX time to get ready for an excursion. They don't like to rush you, but that will give them an idea of when they should have any of the hot meals that you order ready and served.

Totally doable. Now I'm curious which cruise has brunch on a day with shore excursions. I thought it was only on sea days. :confused3

Also the day you board the ship you can go to Palo (usually around 1pm) and see if you can move it earlier. They hold some back for people to book on board.
If you can't change it remember to build in time to get back to your cabin get changed and get to your excursion meeting place.

This is what we would do. But, 2 hours is p-l-e-n-t-y of time. You can get out in about 90 minutes and have had a leisurely brunch.

I agree with a PP, what cruise has Palo brunch on a port day? Something new from DCL I missed?

On some cruises if there is a later arrival in a port (sometimes Key West) they will serve Brunch that day.

I was just going to ask the same thing. I just checked the DCL website & it still shows Palo brunches only offered on Sea Days. :confused3
