I need opinions. I am trying to decied where to eat one night. Looking for strictly food tasting purpose. It's between Grand Floridian Cafe, 1900 Park Fare and Flying Fish. We don't need exquiste (sp?) just good tasting food. Feel free to recommend something else if you like but we are eating at LeCellier and Kona. Not interested in O'hana or Boma. Thanks.

I would reccommend Narccoossees, since you seem to be inclined to eat at GF. 1900PF is not the place to go for taste. We have found the best buffet to be either Cape May at dinner or Crystal Palace.

I really enjoyed Grand Floridian Cafe - I had a shrimp asiago penne pasta type dish that was AMAZING! DH wasn't too impressed - can't remember why.

Also - Jiko is something to consider - had the best Filet Mignon on Disney property there and we're looking forward to going back on this upcoming trip!

I have never eaten at any of the choices, but wanted to mention that Grand Floridian Cafe seems to get very positive reviews and many feel it is highly under-rated.

As you're looking for taste, it has to be Flying Fish Cafe from those you've selected.

I have not eaten at Flying Fish, just so you know I can't compare that one. I chose Grand Floridian Cafe, excellent food, excellent, service and absolutely lovely atmosphere. We LOVE the chocolate fondue ganache for two, YUM!!!

For the best buffet on Disney property, you won't go wrong with 1900 Park Fair. Do you want to deal with characters and LOTS of kids??? Also, even though very good, the food is not the quality of GFC.

GFC is dining at a nice restuarant. 1900 Park Fair is eating at a buffet with kids and characters swarming around.

OK….I get to be the odd one……you have picked three very different places. 1900 has a couple of different taste things. But still it is a buffet. Meaning it caters to many. I personally don’t understand the raves about the GF Café. Ate there three times and thought the food was……well…..“café” food. Nice but nothing to write home about. Well ya know where I’m going with this…….I pick Fly Fish.

We love 1900 Park Fair :goodvibes
