We've lived here three years (had only been to WDW for a four day trip prior to that) so to DD and I it is still always and adventure. Maybe by the time she is a teen (she is nine) it will get "old" for her, but I'm not so sure! I was never here when I was a kid, so I have lots of time to make up for!

Different than when folks are on vacation - we do little bits at a time now, and there are always new things we discover! We will do a meal, and spend three or four hours in a park some times, other days we will spend a full day in a park.

(All this from someone who would never have been considered a DISNEY FANATIC - prior to moving here - Disney was not what drew me to Central Florida....I always liked the movies, etc, but thought that WDW was for KIDS - so I had no interest until DD came along!)

We love taking our kids and I hope they will not get over going. We have a DS(2) that has been 3 times and a DD(5) that has been 5 times. It is a great place to take kids or atleast that is my excuse.

Thanks for sharing. I love spectro too. What are the dates you will be at disney. If you have a car drive, go to the disneyworld outlet In orlando. I have been told they have hcoe souveniers on sale. I hope you guys have a great trip.

We'll be there from the 27th September until the 11th Oct (when I expect severe post-Disney depression to kick in, LOL!

We won't be renting a car, only one of us drives and they don't feel safe driving in the US because it's so different to England :( we will probably take a cab to buy some essentials though (neice is allergic to dairy, gluten, and wheat) and so we'll have to find something she can eat at a supermarket.

Would love to visit that souvenir shop though - last time we brought back a giant Mickey and Minnie plush doll :teeth:

If you want to Flortlebap you can always can Mears and see if they have a bus going to the Outlets in the morning. We use the big Mears bus to get us to Universal and IOA and once while we were waiting one came to take a bunch of folks to the Beltz shopping center. I always meant to do it but can't pull myself away from the parks . To contact Mears I think you just dial 0 on your hotel phone if your staying in a Disney resort :) .

But then you live in Sheffield! Lucky you, my DBF is from Chester before he moved to Sweden and tells me they have a Disney store there (but he wouldn't go in, the wierdo!). So I'm thinking you have one in Sheffield yeah? I about flipped when we were in Rome the other day ( :smooth: sounds cool doesn't it!) and almost passed their Disney Store. Got me a Tink mug and Jack socks! Ahhh...civilization !
